Same expiry. Same bullish view. Completely different risk. A call is just the right to buy BTC at a fixed strike by a fixed date. Max loss is the premium. The strike is what changes the trade. I opened CoinDCX Options, picked BTC, locked 16 Sep, and compared two calls. 75,500 call Premium $1,004.80 Break-even $76,504.80 Delta 0.64 Needs a smaller bounce. 76,500 call Premium $500.73 Break-even $77,000.73 Delta 0.41 Cheaper, but BTC has to run further just to get even. You’re not getting a discount on the cheap one. You’re paying less because the market prices a lower chance it finishes in the money. I’m bullish, but I don’t expect a moonshot this expiry. So the nearer strike fits better. Smaller move. Higher delta. If I expected a fast squeeze through $77k, I’d take the 76,500 call instead. Same direction. Different size of bet. Open CoinDCX Options → BTC → same expiry → compare strike, premium, break-even and delta before you buy. #LearnKaroCryptoKaro Educational only. Options can expire worthless.
