Sui links three network halts to bugs introduced in v1.72 upgrade @SuiFoundation said three mainnet outages across Thursday and Friday were caused by two separate bugs tied to the network’s v1.72 release, including an interim fix that carried a known risk of triggering another halt. The first two disruptions stemmed from a gas-charging bug, while the third was linked to a separate randomness-state issue during validator restart. Sui said no user funds were at risk and no settled transactions were reversed.
