Blockchain (including Ethereum) keeps mistaking infrastructure progress for market adoption. The space is dominated with such discussions and activity. AI moved faster because it productized complexity: users interact with outcomes, not model architectures. Blockchain, by contrast, exposes its plumbing. Normies don’t care about consensus mechanisms or modular stacks; they care about features, benefits, outcomes, ease of onboarding, convenience, support, and reliability. Ethereum needs more founders obsessed with designing invisible, outcome-driven products that abstract away technical complexity. Infrastructure matters, but only insofar as it enables experiences people actually want to use.
