Q&A from KuCoin to Griffin AI

Q: What is Griffin AI?

Oliver: Griffin AI is bringing the power of AI technology to the crypto finance and Defi space. In short it is the #1 AI Agent Builder for DeFi, where everyone can build, deploy, and scale autonomous AI agents for crypto finance. Mainly our product consists of two parts:

- The first part is the agents we build ourselves — these are hosted on the Agent Playground, where users can test, use, and share ready-made agents.

- The second part is the Agent Builder, which lets anyone create their own agents from scratch — no coding, no AI team, just an idea.

Q: Can you walk us through the architecture of GriffinAI’s agent-builder — what modules are open vs proprietary, and how do you manage updates/patches?

Oliver: Griffin AI is the first no-code AI agent builder for DeFi. It already has strong traction — we have more than 15,000 agents live right now. What is special about it and its architecture:

1.Real-time data — agents act on live prices, liquidity, and news instead of old information.

2. Crypto Data APIs — access to real prices and token analytics.

3. Automated Technical Analysis — agents detect chart patterns and trends automatically.

4. Curated Web3 News Feeds — a clean stream of market news and podcasts.

Plus it has a Smart Web Crawler — reads DAO forums, documents, and crypto blogs in real time.

In short, it’s a powerful but simple way for anyone to use AI to make smarter decisions in crypto.

Q: How does Griffin AI stand out from other AI projects?

Oliver: Unlike many projects out there, AI is not just a buzzword for us. At Griffin AI we already have real products that work today. For instance, TEA Turbo, it is the first fully functional AI agent that can independently execute real transactions for you on-chain. You tell it what you want to do, and it can swap, stake, and move assets— all through natural conversation.

Projects such as ChainOpera AI COAI do not do something like this, they just plan to build it. This is very sophisticated technology.

Q: How does TEA Turbo work, and why is it important?

Oliver: TEA Turbo is our flagship product — it stands for Transaction Execution Agent.

It’s your on-chain operator for smooth and secure execution. You can talk to TEA Turbo like a friend. You just type what you want, and it handles the hard work.

For example, you can say:

• “Swap 30% of my stablecoins to BNB.”

• “Earn yield on my USDT.”

• “Send 0.5 ETH from my wallet to another and buy a token.”

TEA Turbo builds the best plan, shows you the route, fees, and yield, and you just approve the action. Everything is non-custodial, which means your money never leaves your wallet until you approve. It works across multiple wallets and blockchains.

Q: What is $GAIN?

Oliver: $GAIN is the native token of Griffin AI. It is a gas for the agentic economy. You use $GAIN to unlock features, join activities, and later convert it to AI Points for premium features. Simply said — $GAIN is the fuel that makes everything in Griffin AI run.

Q: What’s the news of the week for GAIN?

Oliver: The last weeks have been very exciting for us. First, we successfully reopened $GAIN trading on all major exchanges, with the token price breaking out over 400%, reaching around a 200 million USD valuation. $GAIN is now listed on Binance Alpha, MEXC, and five of the top ten global exchanges.

After our BNB bridge was exploited by an attacker, we had to act fast and perform a token swap to protect users. Now the swap is fully completed, and all exchanges have reopened trading. Even more importantly, Binance funded 50% of the replacement tokens from their own treasury to cover their users — this kind of direct support is unprecedented, and we are deeply grateful to them for standing with our project and our community.

Finally, we are also launching our $1 million first tranche of buy-back program, which is part of our $2.5 million recovery initiative. All these steps make our ecosystem stronger and show our commitment to protecting users after the relaunch.

Q: What’s next on the GAIN roadmap?

Oliver: Next, we’ll be rolling out Griffin Premium - giving more utility to GAIN and also work on further cross-chain integrations so that $GAIN can be used across more blockchains. We will also continue the buy-back program carefully for the next 12 months to support price stability and protect long-term holders. Our goal is to make $GAIN not just a trading token but a token that users actually use in their daily DeFi activities inside the Griffin AI ecosystem.

Next to that, there is a full pipeline of new agents and features - some developed in partnerships with major protocols and networks. They will be deployed over the next weeks and months. It will be an exciting fall and winter!

Q: Why can Griffin AI become a leader in AI + DeFi?

Oliver: Because we’re not here for hype — we’re here to build. Griffin AI already has working AI tools, strong partners like BNB Chain, NEAR, Cardano Foundation, Arbitrum, 1inch, Uniswap, and Burrito Wallet, and a global community that believes in us. The future of DeFi will be agentic — meaning AI agents will interact directly with smart contracts. Griffin AI is already doing that today and we plan to stay at the front of this new AI-driven DeFi era.

Free-Ask from the KuCoin Community to Griffin AI

Q: TEA Turbo is already capable of independently executing real on-chain transactions like swapping, staking, and moving assets through simple natural conversation — a level of functionality many projects such as ChainOpera AI (COAI) are still only planning to achieve. What were the biggest technical challenges your team faced in developing this fully autonomous AI agent, and how did you overcome them?

Oliver: Yes, our flagship agent was indeed a difficult one to crack. It combines the intelligence and reasoning of a LLM with the deterministic flow needed for an application dealing with actual funds and assets. We achieved this by utilizing a reasoning / logic tree and an LLM for intent recognition once the context is not clear. Not only did this greatly improve speed and performance but make the entire application more robust.

Q: Can you explain how $GAIN Tokenomics Distribution? How many tokens will be minted? And how many tokens will be locked by the team?

Oliver: Max supply is 1,000,000,000 GAIN. It is the same after the relaunch. We performed allocation adjustments so we could restore users without increasing max supply. We fund the increased circulating supply from following sources:

- a 100M reduction in the team allocation (from 150M to 50M),

- 20M from investor allocation (reduced to 205M), and

- retiring 90M from the Node Ops & Staking fund (to be redesigned under the Ecosystem allocation).

After the swap, current circulating supply is ~450M GAIN (about +210M vs. the original plan), but the maximum supply is unchanged.

Q: Are you planning to burn tokens to increase token value and attract investors to invest? So, your $GAIN token will be more profitable to hold?

Oliver: Yes, as part of our recovery plan. We activated the first $1,000,000 tranche of the previously announced $2.5M Recovery & Buy-Back Fund. The program’s purpose is to remove the excess circulating supply created during the incident and support orderly market conditions in the post-swap phase. Repurchased tokens will be sent to a burn address monthly, with full on-chain transparency and a public track record. The remaining $1.5M will be deployed tactically over ~12 months.

Q: What unique approach does Griffin AI take to merge AI and decentralized finance, compared to other AI-driven trading protocols?

Oliver: Unlike many we don’t build on the infrastructure layer alone. We build out our agent capabilities based on real-life use cases. But combining all those agents and their specific capabilities - we are moving towards real autonomous agents. Much of this has already been accomplished. We have many agents focusing on research on-chain data, price apis, technical analysis. With TEA we provide transactional capabilities. And right now, in other environments we are building out broader reasoning and risk management capabilities in multi-agent swarms.

Q: Ambassadors play a very important role in every project. Do you have an ambassador program? If yes, how can I be one?

Oliver:  Absolutely, the community is very important to us. Already last year we launched a contributor program. People get to use and play around with our agents for free, and earn points. This program will soon go into season 2. But also, for people interested to engage in a deeper level we are about to launch an ambassador program. Please follow us on X to get the latest announcements.

Q: Can you explain the core utility and ecosystem role of the GAIN token within Griffin AI’s platform?

Oliver: $GAIN is the native token of Griffin AI. It is a gas for the agentic economy. In the first iterations it gives access to premium features for agents and on the agent builder.

Q: Griffin AI aims to merge artificial intelligence with blockchain technology. What specific problem in today’s AI landscape is Griffin AI built to solve, and why is blockchain the key to that solution?

Oliver: Yes, good one. Today AI usually stops where transactions need to be executed. For instance once your AI assistant needs to make a payment to order something. Or wants to place a trade. For AI agents to become autonomous they need to have their own financial means, control their own funds, manage their identity, sign messages, etc. - All those things are very difficult to realize in a traditional finance and Web2 setting.

This is where the solutions we in the blockchain industry have built over the last years. Using on-chain primitives we will be able to bring this to AI agents. Not only will this greatly empower AI agents but also it will bring completely new, agentic use cases to blockchain networks. In a short time we will probably see more transactions being executed by agents than by humans.

Q: Are there any plans to expand Griffin AI’s compatibility with other blockchain networks or DeFi protocols?

Oliver: We are already integrating many different networks and platforms. We started off on the mainnet and added various L2 support. A couple of weeks ago we launched a set of BNB Chain specific agents. Also, we now support Uniswap, Pancakeswap, 1inch on the trading side and Save for yield. We are working constantly on bringing our agents to more networks and protocols.

Also, we are about to announce a set of partnerships where we build specific agents for other communities such as NEAR, Cardano etc. More of those announcements will come in the next few weeks.
