Ethernity is a community-oriented NFT marketplace where users can buy and trade limited edition authenticated NFTs (aNFTs) from celebrities in sports and entertainment. Ethernity Chain combines the benefits of the Ethernity project with the power of decentralized finance (DeFi) and supports the transactions made in ERN tokens. ERN, an ERC-20 token designed on the Ethereum network, is the native token of the Etherenity platform that users make payments for aNFTs.

The Ethernity Chain ecosystem offers a more valuable experience to the NFT marketplace’s users, utilizing the ERN tokens for staking in liquidity pools and generating higher rewards through their interactions. The revenue generated from this operation offers the Ethernity team and its users an additional source of income, over and above the value proposition of the aNFT collections.

Ethernity Chain offers an LP staking program to users, giving ERN holders and Ethernity users more incentives for their engagement. ERN Token holders form members of the Ethernity Chain community and can receive exciting rewards while contributing their support for the project.

Ethernity Chain lets community members provide liquidity for ERN/ETH on Uniswap and stake their LP tokens on Ethernity to generate high APYs. The duration of staking is set at 30 days, after which users unlock their stake and can restake them for higher rewards.

Ethernity Chain has allocated 50,000 ERN for distribution as LP tokens for users who provide liquidity for ERN/ETH on Uniswap V2 every month under their Liquidity Rewards program. The APYs paid out monthly vary between 100% and 300%, offering attractive returns to put ERN crypto to work.

Ethernity Chain also offers a product called Ethernity Packs. The community NFT lottery model packs are priced between $50 and $300 and could contain randomly inserted rare and valuable NFTs. Ethernity Chain project was founded by Nick Rose Ntertsas, an early Bitcoin adopter and entrepreneur. The protocol launched on 8 March 2021 on the Ethereum network. In May 2021, its team of developers announced Layer-2 cross-chain functionality when the platform extended to the Polygon ecosystem.

Ethernal Labs, the company behind the development of the Ethernity Chain project, raised $20 million in funding during the seed round. Prominent investors in the initiative included Ripple, Morning Star Ventures, Algorand, and Polygon Studios.

Other focus areas of the project as of August 2022 include EyeCandy - a trustless, decentralized NFT trading marketplace, private NFT auctions for ERN and Stone token holders, and the addition of Avatars to the platform. The Ethernity team is also working on a Play-to-Earn (P2E) experience and plans to airdrop some P2E gaming tokens to ERN token holders in Q4 2022.
