Q1: How to Bind Mobile Phone Number

In order to ensure the security of your account, it is recommended that you configure multiple security settings at the same time. Currently, KuCoin only provides registration and binding of mobile phones in some countries, and we are working hard to support more countries, please check the "List of Supported Countries" to ensure that your mobile number can be bound.

Step 1:
Go to Account Security, choose Change Password, click Link.

Step 2:
Security checking, you will be asked for the Google 2FA Code to continue. Check your inbox then paste the code here.

The required security verification code varies depending on the security settings bound to the account. Please fill it in according to the actual situation.

Step 3:
Select the country code through the drop-down list, enter your mobile phone number then click Send Code. An SMS verification code will be sent to your phone. Input the verification code and click Activate.

Congratulations, you have linked your phone number.

 

Q2: What Is Trading Password and How to Configure or Change It

The trading password is a 6-digit number used while trading on KuCoin P2P platform. It is the same password when you trade cryptos on the spot market, withdraw cryptos, or create API keys.

How to Configure Your Trading Password
Go to Security → Advanced Settings, choose Trading Password, click Settings.

Click Send Code. Enter the Email Verification Code and click the Next button.

Click OK.

Enter your Trading Password twice and click the button Confirm.

How to change the Trading Password
If you have already set up your trading password, you can change it. Go to Security Settings → Advanced Settings, choose Trading Password, click Change.

Enter your current trading password and set a new one. Please note that after the trading password is changed, your withdrawal related functions will be locked for 24 hours.

 

If you forget your trading password, Please click Forgot trading password.

 

Q3: How to Finish the KYC Verification Process

Firstly, you need to be ID verified to enjoy P2P trading on KuCoin platform, you will see a prompt message after signing in if you haven’t finished your KYC verification process, click the Verify Now button you will be redirected to the KYC process.

You can also find the entrance to KYC process in the navigation bar Identity Verification.

For individual accounts, please complete the whole level 3 process of KYC. The process consists of three steps, including personal information, ID photos and face verification. Please ensure to provide your true and valid information, otherwise, it will affect your audit result.

For institutional accounts, click Institutional Verification to go through the KYB process.
