I reduced some spot positions to hedge against risk. Trump's midterm elections: Currently, the Democrats appear to have the advantage. If the Republicans lose control of both the House and the Senate, the Trump administration’s policy initiatives will be constrained, and U.S. stocks, blockchain, and AI could face severe losses. #USStocks #AI

Why did nobody launch midterms markets on HIP-4? Prediction markets get insane volume and media attention during elections so this should have been an easy way to get eyes on outcome markets at a time when everyone is already excited about Hyperliquid anyways.

I've never been a martyr for politics so if the democrats winning the election means we can get the bull run started then so be it.

Of the 20 midterm elections since 1946, the president’s party has lost seats in the House of Representatives in 18 of them, with gains occurring only in 1998 under Clinton (+4 seats) and 2002 under George W. Bush (+8 seats). An even more significant increase occurred earlier in 1934 under Roosevelt (+9 seats in the House, +9 in the Senate). Currently, capital fleeing to safety is merely routine behavior; whether prices rise or fall going forward still depends on market dynamics.

Tonight, it wasn’t a senator being chosen—it was revenge against the CLARITY Act. This market structure bill passed with bipartisan support in the House, but was blocked in the Senate by Democrats in September. Fairshake, which originally had bipartisan backing, now supports only the Republicans. The irony? Polls suggest Democrats have a 60–70% chance of taking the Senate. By casting this vote for revenge, they’ve made the path for the bill even harder to walk.

Ahead of the U.S. Midterm Elections on November 3, 2026 📉 Trump Approval at 32%, Near Historic Low 🔵 Reuters/Ipsos: Democrats lead Republicans 46% to 38% 💸 Cost of living remains voters’ top concern 🔥 Latest Polymarket odds as of 10:09 AM Thailand Time 🔵 Democrats win House: 95% 🔵 Democrats win Senate: 77% 🔵 Democrats sweep both chambers: 76% What happens if Democrats actually achieve a sweep? 1. Trump remains President, but advancing legislation and budgets becomes significantly harder. 2. Democrats gain enhanced authority to investigate and oversee the administration. 3. The Senate may block key appointments and judicial nominations. 4. Risk of impeachment rises—but removal from office still requires a two-thirds Senate majority. Trump himself warned: If Republicans lose the midterms, he could face impeachment again! What’s next?
