US CPI report impacts markets

Oct 14, U.S. CPI expected to hit 3.7% annually, with core inflation at 2.5%. Energy prices and gasoline costs drive headline inflation concerns.

$ACU slammed into strong structural demand near $0.09835 and printed a strong lower-wick rejection candle on the 4H timeframe. Selling pressure is exhausted, and buyers are stepping in right at key support levels.

As momentum flips back bullish, a relief rally toward the MA resistance cluster around $0.113 - $0.123 is highly likely. Great risk-to-reward ratio here for a swing trade! ⏳⚡

Key Levels:

📍 Support: $0.0980 / $0.0968

🎯 Target: $0.1136 → $0.1232 → $0.1385

$TAG

The market can stay quiet for hours, even days, before momentum suddenly returns. That silence before the storm is where preparation matters. When the crowd finally notices a move, the best opportunity may already be behind those who waited without a plan.

TAG is showing a 9.28 percent gain in the displayed 24-hour snapshot. This is a strong move, and it puts the token on my momentum watchlist. But after a sharp advance, I want to know whether buyers still have control or whether early holders are preparing to take profits.

The next things I am watching are trading volume, liquidity, the nearest resistance, and whether price can hold a successful retest. A fresh breakout supported by stronger participation would be more convincing than a sudden spike followed by a sharp rejection. Verified whale accumulation could add context, but the actual wallet activity must be checked before drawing conclusions.

$DOS

The calm before a major move can test even the most patient trader. Price moves slowly, confidence gets questioned, and then suddenly the market begins to wake up. The key is recognizing the difference between a temporary bounce and genuine momentum.

DOS is showing a 5.64 percent gain in the displayed 24-hour snapshot, putting it firmly on my watchlist. Now I want to see whether that strength is supported by expanding trading volume and sustained demand. A green percentage alone is not enough. Strong follow-through, healthy liquidity, and a breakout that holds after a retest would make the setup more convincing.

I am also watching the wider market for capital rotation. If Bitcoin dominance starts easing while altcoin volume expands, smaller projects could receive more attention. That remains a condition to monitor, not a prediction that money is already flowing into DOS.

$AIR

The silence before the storm always feels different. The market gets quiet, traders become impatient, and everyone starts wondering whether the next major move is getting closer. This is exactly when preparation matters more than chasing candles.

AIR is on my watchlist as AI Router Protocol shows a 3.35 percent gain in the 24-hour snapshot. I am watching whether buyers can turn this early strength into a sustained move. The next clues will be rising spot volume, stronger buying pressure, and a clean breakout above local resistance. Whale accumulation would add confidence, but it needs to be verified through actual on-chain data.

My focus is simple. I want confirmation, not a blind entry. If volume expands and price holds its breakout, AIR could become an interesting momentum setup. If buyers disappear, patience comes first.

South Korea's KOSPI just dropped 3.03% - the worst in Asia. Japan was closed, so the KOSPI became the region's AI canary. The tech selloff isn't over. It just moved to Seoul. • KOSPI: ~6,446.57 (-3.03%) • ASX 200: 8,841 (+0.74%, only gainer) • CSI 300: ~3,809 (-0.15%) • Hang Seng: 24,253 (+0.17%) • Japan: Closed for Sports Day (thin liquidity) • Brent: ~4,206 (+0.3%) • Bitcoin: ~$83,800 (+0.9%) Here's the nuance most headlines will skip. Korea is the most AI-levered market in Asia. Samsung and SK Hynix are the memory backbone of the A.I. buildout. When the $KOSPI drops 3% while Australia gains 0.7% on mining and energy, the rotation is clear: out of AI growth, into inflation hedges. That's not a soft-landing trade. That's a regime shift. The trigger is earnings anxiety. S&P 500 companies are expected to report 29.6% earnings growth, driven by AI data centers. But investors are questioning whether AI revenues can keep pace with rising borrowing costs. Watch the KOSPI at 6,400. A break below opens 6,200. If Korea is the AI canary and it just dropped 3%, does the global tech trade have a credibility problem?

📅 This Week’s Crypto Market Outlook: Stay Ahead of Key Events That Could Impact Your Holdings. October 13: Watch the IMF’s World Economic Outlook—focus on whether global growth and inflation forecasts have changed. October 14 at 20:30 UTC: The highlight of the week—U.S. September CPI. If inflation remains elevated, Treasury yields and the dollar may strengthen again, increasing pressure on risk assets. October 15: The PPI will help confirm whether upstream inflation is cooling. 👀 For everyday users, the key takeaway this week isn’t predicting price movements—it’s preparing for significantly higher market volatility around the CPI release. The gap between AI names and the rest of the market is historic: Since the start of 2024, a basket of 42 AI stocks has generated 67% of the S&P 500's price return. In other words, those names have contributed +22 percentage points to the index’s +33% gain over this period. By comparison, the remaining 458 stocks have added +11 percentage points. Additionally, those 42 AI stocks have accounted for 58% of the S&P 500's earnings growth and 81% of CapEx and R&D growth since the start of 2024. The rest of the index has therefore contributed just 20% of total CapEx and R&D growth over the same period. Meanwhile, just 29% of stocks have outperformed the S&P 500 over the last 3 years, close to the ~25% low recorded during the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble. AI is all that matters.
