$MU is trading around the $926 area as the stock remains volatile ahead of its September 30 fiscal Q4 earnings report.
The bigger story remains AI-driven memory demand. Micron reported record fiscal Q3 revenue of $41.46 billion and guided for approximately $50 billion in Q4 revenue with gross margin around 86%. The company has also been shipping HBM4 for AI-related applications, keeping investor attention firmly on the memory cycle.
At the same time, MU has faced selling pressure after recently trading above the $1,000 area. Concerns around the sustainability of AI spending and the broader semiconductor sector have increased short-term volatility. Micron also faces a labor dispute involving its Taiwan workforce, an issue worth monitoring because Taiwan is an important manufacturing hub for the company.
For the near term, the $900–$920 area is an important zone to watch. Holding this region could help stabilize the recent pullback, while a sustained recovery above the $975–$1,000 area would put the stock back into a stronger momentum structure.
The September 30 earnings report is likely to be the next major catalyst. Investors will be watching revenue, margins, HBM demand and forward guidance closely.
The key question for MU now is whether the recent weakness is simply consolidation after a major run or the beginning of a deeper reset in AI-memory expectations.
