$FIL Analysis: Where does it go from here?
#Filecoin is one of the most frustrating ALTs right now, price-wise. It’s been stuck in a range, refusing to break its descending trendline, and this is one of the most solid Altcoins, fundamentally.
$FIL topped out near $0.815 in mid-July, and every rally since has been capped by a descending trendline connecting that high to the lower highs that followed. However, $FIL seems to have found a hard floor at the $0.6726 major support level, spiking down to test it near $0.635 in late July before reversing sharply.
For the past three weeks, FIL has been squeezed between that support level, unable to break out with conviction. This price action is absolutely in contrast to Filecoin's fundamentals, which remain some of the strongest in the sector.
Filecoin's own data, drawn from a Valantic study of 212 decision-makers, shows 80% of German companies with 1,000-plus employees are expanding local IT infrastructure, with 73% flagging the U.S. Cloud Act as a major enterprise risk; a real signal of growing demand for storage that isn't concentrated under a single jurisdiction's legal reach, which is exactly Filecoin's pitch.
$FIL has had reasons to run for weeks and still hasn't cleared the trendline, which means the token needs either a volume-driven catalyst or a broader altcoin rotation to actually force the break. Until that trendline gets taken out with conviction, every bounce inside this range is just range trading, not the start of a new trend.
