WHILE THE US DEBATES, IT IS LOSING ITS LEAD IN CRYPTO.

🇯🇵 Japan: crypto = financial asset, taxes cut

🇰🇷 Korea: crypto = national asset, tokenizing gov't real estate

🇭🇰 Hong Kong: regulated stablecoins + RWA infrastructure

🇸🇬 Singapore: expanding institutional licenses

🇷🇺 Russia: set to legalize crypto as property.

Time is running out.

While the US is busy passing the CLARITY Act, other nations are rewriting their crypto rules.

If the US wants to stay ahead, it must act quickly.

Pass the CLARITY Act. NOW!

"We are making laws for crypto and bitcoin, young people are losing money." _Governor of the Bank of Tanzania, Mr. Emmanuel Mpawe Tutuba_ Governor Tutuba's comment reflects a broader push by the Bank of Tanzania to bring cryptocurrency and stablecoin activity under formal regulatory oversight. Speaking at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair in mid-July, he announced a new plan to regulate digital assets, with laws intended to govern stablecoins and cryptocurrencies like bitcoin in order to protect young local investors from risk. The concern centers on rapid, largely unsupervised growth in retail crypto trading, particularly among younger Tanzanians drawn in by the promise of quick returns but exposed to significant volatility and scams. The central bank is preparing this regulatory framework as authorities move to strengthen oversight of a rapidly expanding market. Beyond investor protection, Tutuba specifically flagged the framework's role in targeting money laundering and broader system wide security risks a signal that Tanzania sees unregulated crypto flows as a potential channel for illicit finance, including terrorism financing, not just a consumer-protection issue. This fits into a pattern seen across several African central banks in 2025-2026: rather than banning crypto outright, regulators are moving toward licensing exchanges, requiring disclosures, and building anti money laundering safeguards while trying not to stifle fintech innovation, which Tanzania has also been actively promoting as a growth driver.
