Musk's lawyer won't get what he's looking for, because it does not exist. The idea of turning openAI into a for profit org. was done after Elon left. He owns XAI (a for profit and direct openAI rival) , if he cares so much about non profit , why's XAI for profit?

🚨 FAMILY SUES OPENAI OVER ALLEGED ROLE IN FSU SHOOTING. The family of a Florida State University shooting victim has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI. They say the suspect used ChatGPT to help plan the attack. The suit claims the chatbot gave information about timing, weapons, and how to cause more harm. OpenAI denies wrongdoing. The company says ChatGPT only provided general information already available online and did not encourage violence. The case adds to growing legal questions about AI tools and their role in real‑world harm.

⚡️OPENAI CAPS MICROSOFT REVENUE SHARE AT $38B Under the new terms, OpenAI’s total revenue-share payments to Microsoft are capped at $38 billion, down from a potential $135 billion under the old structure. That cuts long-term liability by $97 billion. But there is a catch. To secure that cap, OpenAI gave up its right to defer payments. Instead of paying Microsoft $4 billion this year, it now owes $6 billion, adding $2 billion in 2026 alone. The result is a clear tradeoff: OpenAI pays more upfront, but replaces open-ended liability with a fixed, modelable expense through 2030. The goal is to pay premium now to give investors a cleaner financial story ahead of a potential IPO.
