Stablecoins aren't just a US story. @John1wu spoke to @LowBeta on what @avax is quietly building across Asia and LatAm: ↳ @StraitsX + Monetary Authority of Singapore. ↳ @Alipay and GrabPay rails. ↳ Nonco doing on-chain FX in LatAm. ↳ @rain as the on/off ramp. The non-US stablecoin universe is here.

US lawmakers advance the Clarity Act with stablecoin yield restrictions 🏦 The compromise language restricts passive yield on stablecoins, outlining limits on yield-generating designs. Circle’s institutional payments stack includes the x402 protocol, now under the Linux Foundation with support from AWS, Cloudflare, Stripe, Shopify, and Google. The article states that regulatory momentum and enterprise adoption trends position Circle for increased institutional market share as stablecoin volumes reach record highs.

This is honestly the kind of stablecoin growth that matters more to me lately, especially from @RiverdotInc A lot of projects talk about “mass adoption”, but seeing ethereum:0x1958853a8be062dc4f401750eb233f5850f0d0d2 actually being used for real purchases through YodlPay across Vietnam, Brazil, Argentina and the Philippines makes the whole thing feel far more tangible Not just traders moving numbers between wallets, but people potentially using stablecoins in everyday situations (local shops, vendors, normal payments) Still early of course, but integrations like this are probably what real adoption starts looking like

South Korea enters the stablecoin race with force! KB Financial Bank has completed a pioneering trial of a won-pegged stablecoin for QR code payments and remittances to Vietnam. The result? A 87% reduction in fees compared to traditional systems. This development paves the way for a true revolution in digital payments.

Stablecoins are huge rn, so it makes sense why @OseroHQ raised $13.5M for this. The idea is that you earn yield on stablecoins without leaving the wallets, exchanges, neobanks, or apps you already use. So think of it like stablecoin savings without forcing users into DeFi, and without forcing the app to become an asset manager. This has some decent retail appeal if I’m being honest. But anyway, @SkyEcosystem is the whole reason Osero has a yield product to plug into apps. Sky already has the stablecoin savings product through USDS/sUSDS, and Osero makes it easier for wallets and exchanges to offer that access to their users. I think this is an important step for stablecoin adoption in crypto. If stablecoins are going to be used outside crypto-native circles, the UX needs to feel closer to a normal savings product.

I remember when @mirza dropped this quote while people were questioning why @injective ( $INJ) leaned toward $USDC over $USDT. At first glance, the quote looked funny and sarcastic. But if you really think about it, it actually answered the question. Here’s why I believe Injective chose USDC over USDT A lot of people only look at stablecoins from a liquidity perspective. And yes, USDT is still the king of liquidity. It dominates exchange volume, retail trading, and global crypto transfers. But Injective is not building for “just crypto.” It’s building financial infrastructure. That changes the equation completely. One example people overlooked was when Pornhub reportedly moved from USDT payouts to USDC. According to reports shared by creators and multiple crypto news outlets, the reasons included: • better payout reliability • full reserve backing • MiCA compliance in Europe • operating with a more regulated stablecoin Whether people like the example or not, the signal matters. The industry is slowly shifting from “what has the biggest volume today” to “what institutions, regulators, and global financial systems are comfortable integrating tomorrow.” And that aligns closely with what Injective is positioning for. Injective keeps pushing toward institutional-grade markets, tokenized assets, interoperable finance, and fully on-chain trading systems. When you’re building at that level, the stablecoin you prioritize becomes part of the message you send to the market. USDC represents: • stronger transparency • clearer reserve reporting • better regulatory alignment • higher institutional confidence That matters because the next wave of on-chain capital will not come only from crypto natives. It’ll come from funds, fintech firms, payment providers, and institutions that need clarity before deploying significant on-chain liquidity. Injective understands this shift early. USDT may dominate the current trading environment, but USDC aligns more closely with where Injective believes finance is heading: a future in which decentralized markets are no longer separate from traditional finance, but become the infrastructure that powers it. And if your goal is to build the financial systems for the next generation of markets, choosing the stablecoin with stronger institutional alignment is not just branding. It’s a strategy. Especially now that Injective USDC is expanding deeper across the interchain ecosystem, including @cosmoshub and @dYdX as a canonical stablecoin standard. That’s a long-term positioning move, not a short-term liquidity play.
