Banks adopt Ripple for cross-border payments

SBI Remit confirmed using Ripple’s ledger for low-value transfers with Tottori Bank, bypassing SWIFT for faster, cheaper settlement.

Finally bridging the gap between owning a slice and actually getting paid. Smart contracts handling distributions automatically is huge. One question though — how are maintenance/tenant decisions handled on-chain? Still need some off-chain governance? Either way, this combo eats TradFi’s lunch. Phoenix, London, Dubai all accessible globally. Infrastructure is live. Bullish as hell on XRP + XDC synergy 🚀

I used to think the reserve system was just XRPL's version of a gas fee. It's not. It's locked collateral, and that distinction changes everything about how you design for users. Here's the current reality: activating a wallet costs 1 XRP. Every trustline you add after that locks another 0.2 XRP. Not spent. Locked. You get it back if you ever remove the trustline. So a wallet with 5 trustlines has 2 XRP frozen in protocol collateral right now. At today's price that's real money sitting idle just to hold tokens. For users this is annoying. For developers it's a design constraint you can't ignore. If your onboarding flow asks someone to add 3 trustlines before they do anything useful, you've already locked ~1.6 XRP before they've touched your product. The reserve exists for a good reason, it prevents ledger spam. But knowing the exact cost per object changes how you sequence UX. Add trustlines only when necessary. Tell users upfront what gets locked. That's the whole lesson.

The $3 Billion Silence: What the Whales Know That You Don’t 🐋🤫

The Reality Check:

While the "small fish" are arguing on social media about whether Bitcoin is "too high" at $77k, the Whales are doing something very different. Since April 10, large wallets have quietly accumulated over $3.17 Billion in BTC.

They aren't "Aping" in during a pump. They are buying the Silence.

Most traders wait for the "Green Candle" to feel safe. Professionals know that by the time the candle is green, the best price is already gone.

The Psychological Lesson: The "Safety" Illusion

In Trading in the Zone, Mark Douglas explains that the human brain seeks "certainty." We want the market to tell us it’s okay to buy.

• The Retail Mindset: Waits for the news to be 100% positive. (Buys the Top).

• The 100x Mindset: Trusts the Accumulation Data when the news is quiet. (Buys the Bottom).

True Trading Education is about 3 Data Points:

1. Exchange Reserves: If BTC is leaving exchanges while the price is sideways, the "Supply Shock" is coming.

2. The "Divergence": If retail is selling but Whales are buying, guess who wins? Hint: It’s not the person with $100 and a dream.

3. Volume Profiles: In our 24-hour operation (Ameer, Hussain, and the crew), we look for "Hidden Buying"—where the price doesn't move much, but the volume is huge. That is a Whale's footprint.

The Golden Sense Tip:

In 2026, the biggest risk isn't a "Crash." The biggest risk is being Left Behind. When the Big Money finishes accumulating, they won't send you an invite to the $100k party. They will just kick the door down.

Let’s Check Your "Whale" Instinct Today... 👇

Bitcoin has been sideways between $75k and $77k for hours.

• Option A: "I'm selling because it's boring and I think it's over."

• Option B: "I'm holding because the data shows the Big Players are still buying."

• Option C: "I'm waiting for a break above $80k to finally feel safe."

Comment your letter below. If you're a "C," you're the Whales' favorite meal! Let's talk about why in the replies. 👇

DTCC has just announced its contribution to the GBBC’s Risk Mitigation Framework, focused on non-financial risks of public blockchains. What the post doesn’t say: Ripple has been actively involved in this framework since Phase 1, alongside DTCC, Euroclear, Clearstream, and The World Bank. In other words: two institutions—DTCC and Ripple—are sitting at the same table, jointly writing the rules for how the market should assess and mitigate risks in public blockchain infrastructure. DTCC is building the tokenization of the U.S. market. Ripple Prime is already a participant in NSCC. And now, both are formally collaborating through the GBBC to define governance and risk standards. This is not speculation. It’s silent, documented, and ongoing institutional coordination. The standard is here. It’s already happening! Like, share, and follow @Brasil_Xrp for more.
