OpenClaw AI adoption surge
OpenClaw becomes GitHub's most starred project, sparking widespread AI adoption in crypto and tech communities.

So, @ilblackdragon wrote that one month ago (Feb 9), unveiling the development of IronClaw, an open-source, OpenClaw-inspired, autonomous AI agent framework written in Rust with native sandboxing for increased security and TEE for privacy. > “People are losing their funds and credentials using OpenClaw. A number of people have stopped using it as [they are] afraid it will leak all of their information. We started working on [a] security-focused version - IronClaw. It’s Rust-based, all tools run in [an] isolated WASM environment.” I reported about these developments on the same day. Very likely one of the first to amplify it here and one of the first Substacks reporting on IronClaw (thecoding.substack[.]com) Since then, → the repository went from 2 to 44 contributors → from 5 to 5.6k stars → and 17 releases, currently at v0.15 There is now also an entire marketplace for autonomous agents with many of them using IronClaw as the framework and also using $NEAR as the AI-friendly currency of choice. Illia is the co-founder of NEAR, btw, making significant advancements in the intersection of crypto and AI (from a utility perspective, not speculation)

🤔Why does the Pi Core Team keep mentioning OpenMind? The dots are connecting. 🧠 FACTS: ✅421K+ Pi nodes = Distributed computing power (PROVEN in March 2026 case study AI tasks completed in under 4 seconds) ✅OpenMind = Building open OS for robots + AI agents (Pi Ventures-backed) ✅ROBO token = Incentive layer for OpenMind ecosystem ✅Pi × AI × Robotics = Decentralized infrastructure for the AI era Not random. Not coincidence. The direction is CLEAR. 🔭 #PiNetwork #OpenMind #AI #Robotics #DecentralizedCompute

Spent my evening in the IronClaw AMA with @ilblackdragon, and now I'm MOVING ALL MY AGENTS FROM OPENCLAW to IronClaw. Here's why: OpenClaw security picture is genuinely alarming: OpenClaw binds 0.0.0.0 by default - your AI agent is visible to everyone on your network, not just you. 135K instances sit exposed right now with zero brute-force protection. 820 of 5,700 ClawHub skills turned out to be malware. Plugins named "solana-wallet-tracker" that quietly install keyloggers. You think you're adding a feature - you're handing over your keys. IronClaw (Rust) fixes this architecturally. Every tool runs in WASM sandbox - isolated environment, zero default access. Needs explicit tokens to read files or hit network. AI never touches raw credentials. Go to github/nearai/ironclaw → docker compose up → free tier with always-on secure agent on NEAR AI Cloud IronClaw by @near_ai redesigns from scratch: → WASM sandbox per skill, zero default access → Capability tokens (FileRead, NetConnect) - granular, auditable → AI never touches raw credentials - host boundary injection → iron-verify catches 92% of malicious skills pre-install → iron-port migrated 22/30 OpenClaw skills, 3 blocked - needed unrestricted shell 890 verified skills vs 5,700. Sounds like a downgrade until you learn 820 of those 5,700 were malware
