🟠 Michael Saylor's Bitcoin Treasury Secures Nearly $1 Billion in Profit

The world's largest Bitcoin treasury firm, chaired by Michael Saylor, Strategy is winning on its consistent Bitcoin bets even at a time when the broader crypto market continues to struggle amid prolonged volatility.

While the firm had just added another 811 BTC worth about $65.5 million to its fast-expanding Bitcoin stash during a market dip in the final week of October, it has further tilted its holdings a little higher.

🔸 Saylor's Bitcoin bet is paying off

Latest data from Arkham Intelligence shows that Strategy's unrealized profits are rapidly approaching a $1 billion milestone, especially after its latest $65 million Bitcoin purchase during the last week.

While the recent purchase has brought the company's total holdings to 849,327 BTC, worth about $65.9 billion, up from the 848,516 BTC it held the previous week, Strategy's Bitcoin holdings are rapidly expanding.

As such, the world's largest Bitcoin corporate holding firm has continued to sit on massive unrealized gains despite Bitcoin's mixed price action.

Although Bitcoin's price action has remained weak, it is still trading above the average purchase price of each Bitcoin owned by Strategy at over $77,000. As such, the company has been able to generate substantial unrealized profits of over $919 million as of November 3.

🔸 What happens if Bitcoin moons in November?

While Strategy has continued to win on its relentless Bitcoin bets even at a time when the market is facing extreme volatility, market watchers are already asking the bigger question about how much gain the company could secure if Bitcoin eventually recovers this month.

With Strategy already sitting on over $919 million in profit when Bitcoin is trading around $77,000, the firm is poised to hit multi-billion profits later this month if Bitcoin reclaims support around $80,000.

🔵 If you had started saving $10 per month in BTC back in 2011, the $1,820 you would have invested would now be worth $2.5 million.

But instead, in 2011, we probably replayed GTA San Andreas for the hundredth time 😁

💸 Here's how big bitcoin traders responded after the Binance hack hit

A day ago, we noted how bitcoin $BTC$77,330.58 investors were buying insurance against potential price drops in the largest cryptocurrency. That bias strengthened after a hacker walked away with more than $6 billion in crypto assets from Binance, the largest crypto exchange.

The insurance in question is a put option, which gives the buyer the right to sell bitcoin at a predetermined price. The option pays off if the $BTC price falls below the agreed sale price, or strike.

The scramble to buy these hedges in privately negotiated deals took off on Paradigm, a liquidity network where large traders negotiate bets in block trades.

The first big trade hit at 20:38 UTC, about 15 minutes after the first outflows from Binance’s wallet and before the news was public, Nicolas Quatravaux, head of EMEA at Paradigm, the leading institutional liquidity network in crypto derivatives.

The trade involved buying 250 lots (each representing one $BTC) of $78,000 puts expiring Oct. 31, worth about $20 million in notional terms. Notional value is the dollar value of the bitcoin the contracts cover. Three minutes later, another 250 clip of the same put traded, and the buyer paid about 35% more.

Altiorix Trades, which tracks market flows on X, said purchases looked especially telling. “The contracts were purchased with $BTC around $80.15K, and by the night price was trading right at that strike. Selling the 80K calls at the same time capped any participation in further upside,” it said.

In the eight hours since the hack, Paradigm traded around $590 million in notional $BTC options blocks. That is about half of the total $BTC options block volume on Deribit, the largest crypto options exchange, over the same period.

The flow was lopsidedly bearish, with most of the amount in puts. The busiest hour came before Binance had said anything and included two 1,000 $BTC blocks of mid-November $74,000 puts, totaling about $155 million in notional value.

Most of the buying occurred in puts just below, but still near, the spot price, not at far lower strikes. That suggests this is not deep-tail hedging, or lottery-ticket bets on a potential crash, but rather conviction hedging against a deeper near-term pullback.

“The buying sits close to the current price, at strikes of $74,000 to $78,000, mostly expiring this week and in mid-November,” Quatravaux noted.

Deribit, too, saw increased activity in put options. The biggest bet involved a multi-leg put strategy across November and December expiries worth around $190 million. Another trade involved 500 $BTC blocks in November $64,000 puts and some flow in March calls. “So not everyone was playing defense,” Quatravaux noted.

🔥 The Fed’s Preliminary Inflation Data Has Been Released! Here’s Bitcoin’s Initial Reaction!

Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, continues to trade around the critical $80,000 level following yesterday’s Federal Reserve interest rate decision, while data on Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE), closely monitored by the Fed when making interest rate decisions and considered a leading indicator of inflation, was released.

As is known, the Fed kept its policy interest rate stable at 3.75-4 percent in October, while two members expressed their opinion in favor of a 25 basis point interest rate increase. Following the decision, Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh stated that inflation is still running above the 2 percent target level.

Accordingly, the personal consumption expenditure data for September were as follows:

🔸 Core Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index (Annual) Announced 3.1% – Expected 3.1% – Previous 3.0%

🔸 Core Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index (Monthly) Announced 0.3% – Expected 0.3% – Previous 0.3%

🔸 Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index (Annual) Announced 3.6% – Expected 3.6% – Previous 3.4%

🔸 Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index (Monthly) Announced 0.5% – Expected 0.5% – Previous 0.3%

According to The Kobeissi Letter, US September PCE inflation, the Fed’s preferred measure of inflation, rose to 3.6%. Core PCE inflation also increased to 3.1%, a 0.3% increase compared to the previous month. This officially confirms that CPI, PPI, and PCE inflations are all rising again. The report suggests that, based on these data, a rate hike is imminent in December.

How long will it take for Bitcoin to return to $126k? 🤔️️️️️️

It has been almost a year since the all-time high (ATH). Currently, the price is 34% below the peak, but it is already 43% above the July low of $58k. If we analyze the infographic above, which shows the relationship between the depth of the decline and the duration of the recovery, we can see the following:

🔘 Historically, after a drop of 50-55%, it has taken 60-230 days from the bottom to return to the previous ATH.

🔘 Approximately 114 days have passed since the July low.

🔘 If $58k was indeed the bottom, the historical recovery window falls between December 2026 and February 2027.

What are the possible scenarios?

🟢 Optimistic: A breakout above $95-$100k in November would accelerate the recovery, and BTC could reach a new ATH before the end of the year.

🟠 Moderate: Consolidation in the $85-$90k range, with a return to $126k in early 2027.

💭 For now, Bitcoin is close to the median line of the historical recovery model. The next few months will show whether the market can maintain this pace.

⚡ Bitcoin Hashrate Hits a Seven-Month High: What Does It Mean for $BTC ? ⚡

🎬 Imagine major Bitcoin mining companies redirecting their machines toward artificial intelligence, expecting less competition in crypto mining. Then the Bitcoin network delivers an unexpected twist: its computing power climbs again.

📊 Bitcoin’s seven-day average hashrate has risen above 1,000 EH/s, equivalent to one zettahash per second, reaching its highest level since March 3, 2026. The recovery shows that mining competition remains intense despite the AI shift.

⛏️ The interesting part is why. Some smaller and mid-sized miners may be buying secondhand equipment from larger operators and putting it back to work. However, the exact contribution of these miners remains uncertain.

⚙️ Mining difficulty increased 5.92% on October 16. BlocksBridge Consulting projected another 5.16% increase at the next adjustment. If that estimate holds, miners could face a combined difficulty increase of roughly 11.4% across two adjustments.

🧠 Here is the bigger picture: rising hashrate generally strengthens Bitcoin's resistance to attacks, but it also means miners compete harder for block rewards. More network power does not automatically translate into higher BTC prices.

📉 Smaller operators with efficient machines and affordable electricity may benefit, while miners with high operating costs could face tighter margins. Profitability still depends on Bitcoin's price, electricity costs, equipment efficiency, and mining difficulty.

🔥 Bitcoin's network is getting stronger, but the race to mine each BTC is getting tougher.

💬 Will rising hashrate strengthen long-term confidence in Bitcoin, or will mounting mining costs become the bigger story?

🚨 ₿ US Sanctions Iranian Crypto Exchange BitBank Over Hormuz Payments and IRGC Bitcoin Transfers 🌍

Bitcoin is borderless, but the financial networks surrounding it are not beyond government reach.

On September 17, the US Treasury sanctioned Iranian exchange BitBank, alleging it helped transfer hundreds of millions of dollars in Bitcoin to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) between June and July. Officials also linked the platform to payments collected through a shipping-related operation in the Strait of Hormuz.

The bigger story is enforcement. Blockchain transactions can leave traceable records, and authorities can use those records alongside exchange data and other evidence to identify financial networks.

My take: this case challenges the idea that crypto automatically provides financial invisibility. Bitcoin itself is not the same as the institutions or individuals using it, but platforms connected to sanctioned entities can face serious legal consequences.

Watch for further sanctions, exchange compliance changes, and tighter monitoring of suspicious transactions. These developments could shape how platforms manage risk across borders.

Crypto may move without borders, but accountability can follow the money.

Will stronger enforcement build trust in crypto, or create new concerns about financial freedom?

🌍 ₿ Bitcoin’s Next Move: Can Fed Policy and Liquidity Shape the Crypto Market? 💧

Sometimes, Bitcoin doesn't need a major headline to move. A shift in expectations about interest rates can be enough to change how investors view risk.

The Federal Reserve's next meeting on October 27-28 is approaching. A recent Reuters poll found that most surveyed economists expect the Fed to hold rates steady in October, while anticipating another increase in December. That uncertainty matters for crypto.

Here's the bigger picture: interest rates influence borrowing costs, bond yields, and investors' willingness to take risks. Tighter financial conditions can pressure speculative assets, while improving liquidity expectations may support demand. But expectations alone don't guarantee fresh money will enter Bitcoin.

My take: Watch the difference between what markets expect and what the Fed actually signals. Bitcoin can rally on a less-hawkish outlook, yet struggle if Treasury yields rise or spot buying remains weak.

The next clues are Fed communication, Treasury yields, the dollar, and sustained spot demand. Together, they can reveal whether optimism has real support or is simply short-term relief.

Remember, liquidity expectations can ignite a move, but sustained demand helps determine whether it lasts.

What matters more for Bitcoin's next move: Fed policy or actual buying pressure?
