XRP’s regulatory position is stronger, but price still hasn’t delivered. In March 2026, the SEC and CFTC jointly classified XRP as a digital commodity. On September 29, Ripple announced an XRPL deployment with Brazil’s CSD BR to record and audit financial assets, starting with BTG Pactual fund shares. Spot XRP ETFs also expanded institutional access in late 2025.
Price reality: XRP trades near $1.33, roughly 64% below its $3.65 all-time high and far above its historical ATL of $0.002686. The regulatory and institutional stack is real, but it has not prevented a major drawdown.
Supply matters: approximately 63.1B of 100B XRP circulate. Institutional access does not automatically create sustained spot demand.
This is a watch, not a long. The $1.25–$1.29 zone is near-term support; $1.40 is the first resistance to reclaim.
The catalyst: measurable XRPL settlement volume, sustained ETF inflows and genuine XRP liquidity demand—not more partnerships.
