🚨 CYBERSECURITY WARNING: CONNECT THE DOTS. The Chainalysis breach should not be viewed in isolation. Consider the evidence: 👉 July 2026: The FBI and CISA warned of cyberattacks disrupting U.S. water infrastructure. 👉 August 2026: The NSA warned that threat actors were using AI-generated exploitation scripts to target industrial control systems across critical infrastructure. 👉 October 2026: Chainalysis confirmed a breach, with reports describing the use of offensive agentic techniques. https://t.co/WPs3yq9egd These incidents are not proven to be connected. But they point to a concerning convergence: increasingly capable offensive automation and persistent vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure. My concern is that attackers may be testing and refining capabilities that could eventually be deployed against higher-impact targets: water systems, energy grids, airports, or nuclear facilities. I’m not claiming such an attack is imminent. I’m saying the warning indicators deserve serious attention. I hope I’m wrong about where this is heading. But the patterns emerging across cyberspace are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. The question isn’t whether AI will change cyberwarfare. It’s whether our defenses can adapt fast enough. ⚠️
