Can I take a moment to celebrate where Cardano has come, it's like I've lived an entire lifetime in this place and been in every branch of real government. But with this love I have I have to get his off my chest. I want to start by saying this comes from someone who cares about Cardano and wants it to win. A lot of people are putting in real work right now, and they know how they are, even if I toss pebbles at their window. But I think we need an honest conversation about where we are, because Cardano is in a tough spot and action needs to be taken. That might mean staying the course, amending some changes, or rethinking parts of what we've built, all the way up to the governance layer. That's for this community to decide.

I guess I'm pretentious to some, annoying to others, hated by a few; but to those who really know me, or those that I worked with or worked for, and or to those that have followed my outputs: Then You know I do this work with passion, and I genuinely don't try to elevate myself above my station, I sought out true masters of their craft and learned from them and was privileged to do so. I really care for this ecosystem, being Cardano, I left a cushy role to be in the weeds with the many and carve things from the ground up then be stuck in an ivory tower. I accomplished my goal at Intersect, IOG, and Voltaire, gave over something the community should run and left a foot in the door in the TSC to help propel things forward. I do consult and do work for free for on a few Cardano projects as they can attest to and hopefully they find it valuable, they're success is our success. And now I'm hoping to help with the commercial side. And yes, I joined Filecoin to support the missing pillar in many ecosystems and to attack the most centralized part of the world outside of banking, being data storage. This is where web3 will first be proven outside privacy domains and banking. So I am proud to be on this mission and advance it. I also am doing my best to support Midnight as time allows as well, but that has it's own force going on now and doesn't need much assistance. But I hope none of the entities here or leadership or community find me atrocious, just speaking out what I believe is needed and imploring for change or action as best as I can, I'm just a frog on a Lilypad floating in a big pond. Do know nothing I say has malice, just passion behind it 😅

The stack that matters: 1) Filecoin for decentralized storage, over an exabyte of storage, no one has that scale 2) Cardano for tech and security, literally top of its class in regards to both 3) Midnight, privacy, only one that is native to 1 and 2 with scale included

The AI Paradox: Are Web3 Foundations Cutting the Very Functions They Need to Survive? A Loving note for: Midnight, Cardano, Eth AI is making software cheaper to produce. But confusing development efficiency with ecosystem sustainability could prove to be a costly mistake.

Ok so here's what I want to go all-in on for Cardano and I'm looking for people who want to build it with me. I'm kicking off a commercial viability workstream with @rod_drmz and the @Cardano_CF . Now that the CF is pulling a lot of the programs together, there's a real chance to build proper user journeys through them - with actual branching paths depending on what projects need. Stemming off of convos last year with the venture hub and CAP, @KrisKowalsky, @krissbaird, @dannyribar’ and @planetmaaz I also want to build a GTM / lead gen piece on top of it, so we can actually connect Cardano projects to real clients and revenue, not just VCs. The idea is pretty simple - bring in students and early-stage founders, teach product-market fit and how to shape pre-Catalyst ideas, then support them post-Catalyst into Draper, angels, or straight up client work. Got a fuller write-up coming soon, once alignment with CF is confirmed, but just putting the feeler out now to see who wants to be part of a community-led push on this. I'm clear of other stuff now so I can properly focus on it. If you're keen, shout.

Lessons learned in Cardano Givernance # 5: Remember the those who went with you and those who didn’t; and move on, the enemies of today will be the friends tomorrow, the enemies tomorrow are your closest friends today. So give as you see fit, but when you give, don’t expect back in return, the heart of this ecosystem is built on this trust and it outside of tech is the only reason Cardano is in the top 20. We all have grievances and they will probably never be rectified so let’s just keep moving, this space is a seesaw that keeps moving left and right. I know I’ve annoyed a few and became friends later and friends early on are annoyed with me now 😅 such is Cardano 🤪 Recap of the other 4 lessons: 1) Everybody mad at everybody when they don’t get funded. 2) Lack of process isn’t clarity and too much process is just depravity. 3) If the community paid taxes to a bucket and that bucket funded anything you do, it's taxpayer money. 4) Change isn't enacted most of the time until there's pitchforks already knocking on the door.
