🪼 Polymarket to launch “attention” markets in partnership with Kaito The crypto-based prediction platform Polymarket has announced a partnership with Kaito and the launch of a new format of prediction markets based on public attention to brands, individuals, and social topics. Users will be able to place bets on how audience interest and public sentiment toward certain phenomena change over time. Kaito uses AI to collect data from social networks including X, TikTok, and YouTube. Based on this data, the service evaluates not only the volume of discussion around a topic (mindshare) but also its sentiment. These metrics are used to measure share of attention and whether the discussion is predominantly positive or negative. The first such markets are expected to launch in early March. KAITO token reacted to the news with a 15% price increase, but it is still trading more than 50% below levels seen before the crash that followed X restricting SocialFi services that paid users for posts. Kaito had been the largest of those services.

🇺🇸 The White House failed to reach agreement on stablecoin yields Crypto businesses and the largest U.S. banks held a closed-door meeting at the White House focused on the issue of yield generation on stablecoins. The parties did not reach a compromise, once again stalling progress on a bill to regulate the crypto market in the United States. Banks advocated for an effective ban on any form of yield or incentives associated with holding and using stablecoins. A document leaked to the media proposes a complete prohibition on paying interest on stablecoins in any form, along with strict monitoring measures and enforcement against attempts to circumvent the restrictions. Representatives of crypto companies strongly opposed the banks’ proposals, and the meeting ended without an agreed decision. Participants in the talks included Ripple, Coinbase, industry crypto associations, and major banks such as Goldman Sachs, Citi, and JPMorgan.

📊 Why Bitcoin’s bottom may be below $60,000. Key points from the Galaxy report If 2017 is excluded, no 40% drop in Bitcoin’s price from an all-time high has occurred without a subsequent decline of more than 50% within the following three months. There is a possibility that Bitcoin’s price could fall even below these statistical levels — down to $56,000 per coin, according to analysts at investment firm Galaxy Digital. One of the key indicators in the company’s calculations is Bitcoin’s realized price based on the 200-week and 50-week moving averages. In previous bull cycles (2013–2014, 2017–2018, and 2021), the 50-week moving average served as a key support level. In November 2025, Bitcoin broke below this level and moved toward the 200-week average, into the $56,000–58,000 range. Galaxy’s historical model shows that this zone ($56,000–58,000) served as the area for bottom formation and trend reversal in previous cycles. Where these targets come from, which price levels analysts are also watching, and what is currently having the strongest impact on the market.

📊 The crypto market has updated a two-month low. Bitcoin briefly fell below $82,000, down to levels last seen in late November 2025, dragging the entire market with it. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization dropped below $2.8 trillion. Over the past 24 hours, more than $1.6 billion in long positions were liquidated in crypto futures. Of this amount, over $745 million came from BTC positions, with nearly $400 million from ETH.
