Stan is skeptical on crypto as an asset and bitcoin as a currency. But he is bullish bitcoin as "gold for millennials" and blockchain as a technology. 1:24 "the concept that it (btc) could ever be a medium of exchange has been eliminated because you can't do transactions" 1:58 "...Bitcoin will probably go down with the rest of the stuff." 3:00 "they keep telling me it's going to be a store of value like gold maybe I mean it could go to a million but I don't understand why it's a store of value other than you can't create it well there's a lot of things you can't create that aren't going to go to a million." 3:37 "But they've done this unbelievable marketing job. It's been around 13 years, and particularly younger millennials look at it the way I've always looked at gold. I do doubt, whether Bitcoin itself will be anything other than a store of value, because it's got all sorts of problems as a currency. Number one, it uses up a lot of energy." 4:13 "My view of it has been way overblown in the press. I do own some of it. It's gone up a lot since I bought it. It's just sort of a play thing. I don't really believe in it." 5:15 "I was going to buy $100M of it even though I didn't really believe in it because I thought the risk reward was quite good it took me a week and a half to buy $20M of it (at $6.5K), I sold it all at $35k" thats a 450% gain. 7:02 "But I'm not sure I believe in this stuff as a currency, but I do believe in the platform of the blockchain." 9:33 "if you believe we're going to have irresponsible monetary policy and inflation going forward, if it's in a bull phase, you want to own Bitcoin. But if it's in a bear phase for other assets, you want to own gold." 13:17 "So to have a really big problem, you need an asset bubble. And these guys created the biggest asset bubble I've ever studied in the last five or six years. Crypto, meme stocks, equities, credit, bonds." 14:06 "I could see cryptocurrency having a big role in a renaissance because people just aren't going to trust the central banks." 15:12 "Maybe it's not good that we led in crypto, who knows, and we're obviously leading in in generative AI" 15:41 "But I do believe, unlike crypto, I think AI is real. It's probably, it could be as transformative as the internet." 16:34 "I don't own any bitcoin but I should" 16:53 "I started noticing that the kids at Stanford were shifting from crypto, 50/50 crypto and 50/50 AI, to more going to AI." 17:23 Druckenmiller family office discloses positions in bitcoin miners $BTDR, $HUT, $IREN.

Those who bought $STRC on Jun 26th, are now enjoying 16.84% yield, paid out biweekly and a 40.35% gain. Where's the money Lebowski? From selling $BTC and printing new $MSTR > $58.7M raised from issuing new $MSTR through the ATM program. > $431.8M raised from selling 6,948 btc. Can we still get new All Time High with Michael Selloor holding 4.22% of supply?

Why doesn't Fomo have copy trading? It's an obvious feature that fits their UX. If the leaderboard is the centerpiece, then copy trading would be the killer feature. It's a trading app. They earn through trading fees on buys and sells. Copy trading would massively increase transaction volume. The answer seems simple: it could make them an active advisor or manager of user funds. A big no-no for a US company without proper registration. But I find it hard to believe that after raising $94 million, they wouldn't hire lawyers and obtain the necessary licenses. The additional trading fees would cover those expenses many times over. So I don't think that's the reason. My guess: Se Yong believes automated copy trading would liquidate users faster than buying coins manually. When you manually buy another rug pull, you think it's your fault. "Skill issue." And you come again. But when you set up copy trading for cupsey and watch your portfolio evaporate - now it's the platform's fault.

One publicly traded company that benefited A LOT from the explosion of vibecoders - is $META Fastest way to burn your runway is to set a PPC campaign thinking youll get your first customers from ppl fat fingering on your paid reels. How long can you support paying $80 per install? Not per customer, per user? Every time my doomscrolling is interrupted by a reel ad, my brain shortcircuts and i tap the ad. Alarm scream ITS AN AD! You have to awake from your trans state and do something! CANT SWIPE AS USUAL. This phenomena is akin to banner blindness. Instead - spend $ on influencers or message ppl directly.

Everything priced in. After me giving The Market multiple 6 figures, one strategy works again and again. Not MACD, not RSI, not Wyckoff analysis. The only thing that's certain is: everything priced in. Back in June after $SPCX IPO, it was known that a big unlock/vesting was coming in August, followed by another 7 unlocks flooding the market with shares. Shortly after the IPO, I made a video breaking it down. Now, 4 unlocks happened. Did the price proceed to drop as more early investors and employees were able to sell? Nope. Today, SPCX pumped 10.9% on the news of lower inflation. On time frames lower than 1 year, speculation takes over. No fundamentals or logic matter. P/S, P/E, EPS, float ratio, everything is out the window. If there is a bleak prospect due to some fundamental changes, price already reacted and already found its bottom. Speculators are in charge. That's what happened with SPCX. August 11th was the big unlock, however price bottomed a week before and ended up pumping on the 11th. At 10:11, I cover why shorting is dangerous due to everything being priced in.

PE isn’t “earnings over X years, discounted”. That’s a textbook definition. PE is - how much hype market gives to a biz today, and how it compares with previous readings and with other biz in the industry. Only then it’s worth analyzing. No one buys $TSLA expecting money back in 370 years.

Kevin Warsh is hiking the rate tomorrow. From 3.50-3.75 to 3.75-4.00. Here's what to expect from risk-on assets (crypto, tech). This hike is to control inflation caused by oil price spikes, not by overvalued assets. Last rate hike was in March '22, after too-late Powell caused 'Bidenomics' and pumped trillions $, which inflated all speculative assets. $QQQ is the proxy for such assets (pic). The hike was priced in and for 3mo assets were falling before the hike. What followed is 10mo of contraction till Dec '22. But things are different now. Diff administration. Diff FED chair. Warsh doesn't want to be 'too late'. But at the same time he was hired to cut the rates. $QQQ hasn't collapsed and been ranging for 125d. $BTC been ranging for 220d. The hike also happening at the beginning of the main business cycle, Q4, and unlike in '22, inflated asset prices are backed by real revenues from the AI capex. So there’s less reason for risk assets to unwind for another 10mo. My read is: if '22 hike was more to cool down the economy, the upcoming hike is to cool down bond rates spiking due to elevated oil, which increases cuz of Trump's ventures in the Middle East. Higher oil means higher transportation and production costs. Those costs hit almost every product and service, spiking the overall inflation read. If situation doesn't improve, we will see short-term treasuries $US02Y spiking and crossing long-term treasuries $US10Y, giving you that infamous inverted yield curve. 2027 will be filled with talks about recession with assets only growing to adjust for inflation. But there is a silver lining - Republicans are loosing the House in the upcoming midterms. That will curb Trump’s enthusiasm. As a conclusion, tech trades flat till the end of Trump’s admin. The chart still goes up and to the right since it’s denominated in ever-depreciating greenbacks. With the “most pro-crypto president” finishing his term, and Trump extracting $3b from crypto enthusiasts, there’s not much hope for $BTC spiking to the promised $600k. And no, “Clarity” won't save it. Once Democrats are back in office and SEC, CFTC chairs are slowly replaced, regulatory risk for crypto comes back into focus. Happy bidding.

"coders and call service center agents may have to switch to jobs like electrician and nurse, which are less exposed to AI. In the extreme scenario, as large swathes of knowledge work are automated more quickly, affected workers may be unemployed for a prolonged period." Anthropic's entire user base is made up of coders. That article was written for them. While making the case for AI automation, it starts with the example of a nurse to trigger compassion. Then comes a direct punch in the gut: “YOU WILL LOSE YOUR JOB. LEARN TO BE A NURSE!” AI doomerism marketing will be studied.
