Bitcoin is showing clear signs of weakening structural momentum. Historically, losing these resistance levels has often preceded periods of heightened volatility and deeper corrections. The key question is no longer how high BTC can go, but whether the market has enough structural strength to sustain a recovery. For now, the on-chain data suggests caution, not optimism.

I made several posts about Solana (SOL) in September and October, warning about the excessive buildup of long positions. Now, solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 is liquidating those bulls. I'm also sharing what happened during the 2022 U.S. midterm elections as a historical reference. Expect plenty of volatility ahead.

Never underestimate the destructive power of a Bear Market. What is happening to Turkey’s BIST All Shares-100 (XTUMY) should serve as a warning to every investor. We are talking about a traditional stock market index representing approximately 481 Turkish companies that has lost more than 54% of its value in local currency after years of appreciation. This is not an altcoin. This is not a speculative token. This is a traditional equity market index. And what happened behind the scenes is even more revealing: a liquidity crisis, investment funds heavily concentrated in illiquid stocks, massive redemptions, and forced liquidations. More than $20 billion in investment funds were affected by liquidation orders. It took years to build that appreciation. Just months were enough to wipe out much of it. This is one of the most important lessons of financial cycles: liquidity fuels euphoria, but it can disappear precisely when everyone needs it most. As for the S&P 500, I do not expect a collapse of the same speed or magnitude. We are talking about a market with significantly greater liquidity, much larger companies, and a fundamentally different structure. However, I remain convinced of one thing: A significant S&P 500 Bear Market before the end of this decade looks almost inevitable to me. I am not predicting a collapse similar to Turkey's. I am simply pointing out that no market rises forever, and even the world's most established indices experience painful contraction cycles. Markets can take years to reward optimism and just months to punish excessive confidence. Never confuse a prolonged bull market with the absence of risk. Data > Narratives.

Bitcoin Open Interest is up 36.7% in 2026, showing a strong correlation with 2025 (0.79) and 2022 (0.62). Yet both years ended very differently! What interests me most is how similar market structures can lead to completely different outcomes. The real opportunity lies in identifying when historical patterns begin to diverge.

Interest in the crypto market is at one of its lowest levels in the past five years! This chart explains why people tend to be so short-sighted, entering the market too late during periods of euphoria and exiting too late! Data doesn't lie! I believe this is one of the best times to build and develop resilience!

Bitcoin's price is about much more than just BTC/USD! There is something extremely interesting about the behavior of the Invesco Alerian Galaxy Crypto Economy ETF (SATO). Historically, on several occasions, this ETF has started showing signs of weakness and declining before Bitcoin itself displayed significant price weakness. This suggests that the equity market tied to the crypto economy may be anticipating Bitcoin's future price movements, pricing in risks and expectations that are not yet reflected in BTC/USD. It's almost like having access to privileged market intelligence, not through confidential information, but through the ability to identify early signals of market positioning and speculative activity. Bitcoin is much more than just BTC/USD! Its price is influenced by a much broader ecosystem of liquidity, capital flows, derivatives, equity markets, and investor expectations. Those who focus solely on Bitcoin's price may be overlooking important signals that other markets are already revealing.

🇧🇷 Brazil recorded one of the largest increases in M2 Money Supply worldwide in 2026! According to Alphractal's World Macro Map, Brazil's M2 money supply, measured in US dollars, has increased by approximately 16% in 2026, reaching $1.6 trillion! Among the 50+ economies monitored, Brazil ranks 6th, behind only the Democratic Republic of the Congo (+22.81%), Paraguay (+22.36%), Kazakhstan (+21.60%), Nigeria (+19.95%), and Iceland (+18.03%). But here's an important detail: all five countries have significantly smaller money supplies than Brazil. When focusing exclusively on economies with M2 money supplies exceeding $1 trillion, Brazil and China stand out as two of the world's leading economies in terms of proportional money supply growth measured in US dollars. This development is even more remarkable considering the size and diversity of Brazil's economy, with major contributions from services, manufacturing, agribusiness, mining, oil, energy, and financial markets. Brazil's monetary liquidity, measured in US dollars, is expanding rapidly in 2026. Part of this increase also reflects exchange rate movements, but the trend deserves close attention. The big question is how this liquidity expansion could impact credit, inflation, the stock market, and other Brazilian assets in the years ahead. Explore the vast range of macroeconomic data available on @Alphractal.
