I watch a lot of founders quietly give up when the market gets boring. When the volume drops to zero, the roadmap suddenly stops. The Discord goes silent. Then you see what @NFT1nsight, @TimpersHD and the @ChimpersHQ team are doing. No pivot to memecoins. No secondary mint to extract liquidity. Instead, they are spending months coding a gamified Collector Hub and ranking system, entirely for the people who stayed. Building polished software when there is no hype left to profit from. That tells you everything you need to know about the team. The easy money left a long time ago. Keep shipping.

X didn't just build a wallet. They quietly handed two rival crypto factions the keys to a $550M user empire. And only one will walk out winning. Here's what nobody is connecting: The infrastructure is already decided. X Money runs on Cross River Bank - the same BaaS layer powering Coinbase's fiat rails and Stripe's payment backbone. One bank. Three of the most dangerous financial products on the internet. All sharing the same plumbing. But the crypto routing layer? Still open. Look at the two people X hired to build the front end: → Nikita Bier. Consumer virality architect. Deep Solana ecosystem roots. → Benji Taylor. Ex-CPO of Aave. Former Head of Design at Base. These aren't random hires. These are two generals from opposite sides of the chain war, now sitting in the same office, designing the same product. Stripe already solved the technical problem: USDC payments live on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Base. All four work. All four are ready. So the decision isn't technical anymore. It's political. It's internal. And it's happening right now inside X HQ. Here's why you should care: If you hold SOL: Nikita's fingerprints on the UX could mean 550M users onboarding through Solana rails. That's the biggest organic adoption event in crypto history. If you hold ETH/Base: Benji's infrastructure DNA runs through every DeFi protocol that X Money will eventually need to settle into. One of these two just became the most important hire in crypto. Nobody knows which one yet. But whoever wins that internal debate will move markets harder than any airdrop ever did. The chain war isn't on-chain. It's already been decided. We just don't know by whom yet.

9 Grails sold for 275 ETH (~$632K) in a single day. Nobody is flipping a 54 ETH EtherRock for a quick 2x. These are real collectors deploying real capital at prices they actually believe in. What died in 2022 wasn't NFTs. It was the casino built on top of them. The market is quieter now. But quiet and dead are two very different things. A Picasso doesn't need 10k daily transactions to be considered valuable. This space is gradually operating like a real collector's market. And honestly, that was always the point. The speculators left. The people who actually want to own this stuff stayed. 9 trades won't spark a bull run. But zero Grail sales would mean the space is truly over. That's not what we are seeing here.

DePIN isn't a future roadmap. It is quietly eating legacy cloud infra right now. @limewire Network just went live in Public Beta. Check the scale: They are already processing 20 million file uploads every single month. Any business or project can now migrate off AWS and plug into this cost-effective, decentralized storage layer. The real signal is the token utility. Every single transaction on this storage network is settled exclusively in $LMWR. 20M monthly uploads. Enterprise-grade adoption. Forced utility. This is how massive, structural demand is created for $LMWR.

All down 90%+. But this table hides two different markets. Art/Historical NFTs: - CryptoPunks -88%. - Fidenza -94%. - Autoglyphs -92%. - Ringers -93%. PFP NFTs: - BAYC -97%. - Azuki -99%. - CloneX -99%. - Cool Cats -99.5%. Art lost 88-93%. PFPs lost 97-99.5%. One exception keeps catching my eye: Pudgy Penguins. A PFP sitting at 4 ETH while MAYC trades 0.83 and Azuki 0.7. The only PFP project with revenue outside the NFT echo chamber. Toys in Walmart. IP licensing. Actual shelf space. And then Milady. lowest ATH on the entire list at $28K, only down 90%. Came after the hype cycle. Held better than most OGs. I don't think this table says NFTs are dead. It just shows the market stopped pretending all JPEGs are the same trade.

The Full Picture of the Bittensor $TAO Drama. Everything you need to know. What happened, who said what, and what the data shows 👇 --- 1/ The timeline: - March 20: Jensen Huang calls Bittensor "a modern Folding@home" on the All-In Podcast. TAO runs from ~$180 to $340. - April 2: Grayscale files amended S-1 with the SEC to convert its Bittensor Trust into a spot ETF. - April 10: Covenant AI, the team behind that rally, announces they're leaving Bittensor. TAO drops to $253. Currently ~$264. The team that built the narrative just walked out of the building. --- 2/ Who is who: - Const (Jacob Steeves): Bittensor co-founder. Controls key governance functions. - Sam Dare: Founder of Covenant AI. Built the Covenant-72B model. 72B parameter LLM trained entirely via decentralized compute across 70+ nodes. Operated 3 subnets (Templar, Basilica, Grail). - Fish: Major subnet operator. Publicly defended Const. --- 3/ What Covenant AI is claiming: Five specific accusations against Const: 1. Unilaterally suspended TAO emissions to all 3 Covenant subnets, cutting off the team's revenue 2. Revoked their admin access to their own community channels 3. Deprecated their subnet infrastructure without consensus 4. Executed large token sales during the conflict, described as deliberate economic pressure 5. The "Triumvirate" (3-person multisig governing all upgrades) is controlled by Const alone. The other two members co-sign without review Their word for it: "Decentralization theatre." --- 4/ How the governance actually works: - Triumvirate: 3 Opentensor Foundation members draft and execute proposals via multisig - Senate: Top 12 validators by staked TAO vote on proposals (50%+1 to pass) The design looks distributed. The dispute is whether it functions that way. Covenant claims dozens of upgrades shipped with zero public debate. --- 5/ The other side. Fish's defense of Const: - Const personally supported Covenant's early development on Grail and Templar - Sam allegedly dumped 37,000+ TAO before/around the exit announcement - Fish calls the departure "an ugly decision out of malice and greed" Const's own response did not address any specific accusation. He framed it as evolution: "This will drive Bittensor to produce its first truly headless subnets. Thank you to Covenant AI for making Bittensor more decentralized." --- 6/ What makes this worth paying attention to. The accusations are specific and verifiable, not vague FUD. Const didn't deny any of them. The counteraccusation. Covenant dumping 37K TAO around the exit, raises its own questions about motive. And all of this is unfolding while Grayscale's ETF filing sits with the SEC. The situation is still developing.

The next NFT cycle is coming. Your timeline won't tell you this. Because your timeline is completely dominated by ETFs, stablecoins, and tokenized treasuries right now. Crypto in 2026 looks and feels like a regulated financial product. That's not an accident. That's the exact setup that precedes every cultural supercycle. Every major crypto cycle was triggered by ONE thing: Something that looked stupid to serious people. - Bitcoin? Internet funny money. - ICOs? Scam fundraising. - DeFi? Degen yield farming. - NFTs? Paying $300k for a monkey JPEG. - Every single time, the "toy" became the cycle. Not the infrastructure. Not the regulation. Not the ETF. The thing that made no sense to your parents. Right now, crypto has zero cultural friction. BlackRock is buying. Congress is regulating. Banks are tokenizing. This is critically important infrastructure. But it's also the exact reason the market feels dead. Nobody goes viral for stablecoin regulation. Nobody screenshots their RWA yield and posts it on X. The excitement vacuum is real. And it's temporary. The narrative that "NFTs are dead" has reached terminal saturation. Media wrote the obituary. Influencers moved on. Floor prices bled out 90%+. But underneath the silence: - Static JPEGs are being replaced by programmable, executable on-chain identity - ERC-8004 quietly introduced NFTs as autonomous AI agents - The builders who survived 2022–2025 are shipping infrastructure that didn't exist during the JPEG era - The speculative layer was completely flushed out The market is drastically underpricing one fundamental truth about human psychology: > People don't speculate on efficiency. > People speculate on culture, identity, and status. > The institutional rails being built today are simply the highway. The next wave of retail will ride those rails straight into consumer-facing digital ownership. Different packaging. Same human behavior. The tourists who bought monkey JPEGs in 2021 are gone. The technology those tourists funded has quietly evolved into something the market hasn't priced in yet. The next NFT cycle is coming. Not because history rhymes. Because the boring phase always ends.
