🚨 THE WHOLE MARKET IS STARTING TO BREAK, AND GOLD, THE ONE PLACE LEFT TO HIDE, IS ALREADY DOWN 30%. HEDGE FUNDS ARE RUNNING FOR THE DOORS. THE S&P HAS ONLY LOST 3.4%. IF STOCKS REALLY GO, HISTORY SAYS GOLD GETS SOLD FIRST. Look what's already gone, from each record high to the latest close: Silver: DOWN 59.6%. Bitcoin: DOWN 38.7%. Gold: DOWN 30.8%. Nasdaq: DOWN 8.2%. Dow: DOWN 5.4%. S&P 500: DOWN 3.4%. Now read that list from the bottom up. The biggest stock market on earth has barely moved. Everything around it is already bleeding. And the biggest money in the world is walking out. Morgan Stanley data, via BeInCrypto on Yahoo Finance: hedge funds cut more than 8% of their total stock bets since June. Their biggest retreat since at least 2017. Goldman Sachs data, same report: after 5 straight days of selling in October, funds had undone EVERY AI purchase they made since the start of 2025. Goldman's basket of hedge fund favorites fell 4.2% on October 22. Its worst day since 2011. AP: Alphabet lost more than 12% in ONE day, its worst day on record. The S&P just closed a third straight losing week. Yet CNBC has the VIX, Wall Street's fear gauge, at just 19.42. It has closed above 50 in only 3 panics since 1995: 2008, 2020 and April 2025. So the real panic hasn't even shown up. That photo is Wall Street on October 24, 1929. The Dow was already 7 weeks off its high. That crowd thought THAT was the panic. It went on to lose 89% by 1932. Now the part that should terrify anyone holding gold. Gold is supposed to be where you run. Since April 2022 the S&P has had 72 days of DOWN 1.5% or worse. Gold FELL on 46 of them. That's 64%. An ordinary day: 47%. It gets worse. S&P down 1.5% AND gold down 3% on the SAME day: just 5 times in 1,147 trading days. ALL 5 WERE IN 2026. February 12. March 20. June 5. June 10. And this Friday. The safe haven isn't acting safe. IF THIS IS THE START, THERE IS NOWHERE LEFT TO HIDE. So what does gold do if stocks really crash? Here are those 3 panics: 2008: funds sold whatever they could to meet margin calls. Gold fell from about $1,011 in March to under $800 by October. March 2020: gold headed for its biggest weekly drop in 7 years as traders sold bullion to fund margin calls (Business Day). April 2025: the S&P lost 12.1% in 4 days. Gold lost $150 with it. 3 for 3. Gold got sold FIRST. Then it ripped. Near $1,900 by 2011. A record above $2,000 by August 2020. UP $399 in 2 weeks in 2025. That's the hopeful version. Here's why I'm not comfortable. In 2008 and 2020 the Fed slashed rates. This time Brent is at $113. The Fed HIKED on September 16 and markets still see a possible December hike. Australia is forecast to hike Monday night. The Bank of England on Thursday. The rescue that saved gold last time may not be coming. 3 panics is a tiny sample, not a law. It's just the only map I've got. What walks in next, New York time: Tonight 6 PM: gold reopens. Monday 10:30 PM: Australia, 4.60% to 4.85% forecast. Thursday 7 AM: Bank of England, 3.75% to 4.00% forecast. Friday 8:30 AM: US jobs, 63K forecast (Forex Factory). My plan: 1. S&P under Friday's 7,527 low AND gold under $3,870 together is forced selling. I don't catch that. 2. An hourly close under $3,870 opens $3,819, then $3,793, then $3,765. 3. Stocks falling and gold HOLDING is the first real sign the selling is done. 4. A daily close back above $3,941 says the break failed. 5. Smaller size all week. Nothing forced into Friday's 8:30. Watch what gets sold next, not the headline. Gold is down $114 today while the 10 year yield fell 19 bps. Wednesday's close: $4,140. Low so far: $4,026. That's the lowest gold has traded since August 3. On paper: Bonds rallied. The 10 year is down to 4.95%. The dollar is down a touch. That should be a good day for gold. Yet gold is down 2.8% and silver is down almost 6%. That's the tell. The real sequence: Stocks sold off, the S&P down 1.4% > the VIX jumped about 19% > money ran into bonds > traders sold what they could, metals included > oil near $100 kept the inflation worry alive. This is a cash raise. Gold is getting sold with everything else. The rate story still favours it. What I'm watching from here: 1. $4,043 was the August 4 low. Gold is under it now. A New York close back above it is the first sign the selling is done. 2. Below, $4,019 is the August 3 low, then $4,000. 3. The sign I want: stocks keep falling and gold stops falling with them. 4. The Fed is October 28. Falling yields help gold once the forced selling stops. Watch the S&P, not the headline. FREE GOLD NEWS DAY PLAYBOOK COMMENT "NEWS" AND I'LL DM IT TO YOU. ‼️People are using the 1970s gold chart as a precursor to what’s coming next. The conditions are fundamentally different: We’re witnessing the destruction of the bond market and currency markets at the same time. We’re stepping into a decade where we will see the highest unemployment in history in the coming years (do to AI) There is no historical fundamental playbook for this. Play the data as it becomes available. There are many different variables at hand.

🚨 Gold traders, in the last 506 trading days, London has NEVER once made both the day's high and the day's low. Zero times. In two years. Every morning people wait for London to set the day's range. Here is what actually sets it, and what to do instead. Bookmark this:

Every setup has a version where it fails cleanly. If you can't picture that version before entry, you haven't finished planning the trade.

🚨 Gold traders, at a 40% win rate, 49.2% of 100 trade runs hit a losing streak of 8 or more. Half of all traders with a real edge will look broken at some point this year. Most quit during it. Here is the streak math by win rate. Bookmark it:

A good trader treats a stop-out the same on a Tuesday as on a Friday. If Friday's stop-out hurts more, that's a size problem, not a day problem.

Which costs you more money in a normal month: your worst setup, or your best setup oversized? Most people are surprised by their own answer.
