Dear online vendor, I know your two biggest headaches. Customers who won't pay before delivery. And customers who say "I paid" but the package never came. 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲? Let me sketch an example of how TRON plus an oracle could answer it. Say Bisi sells handmade bags on Instagram from Lagos, and a buyer in Port Harcourt orders one for 40 USDT. Instead of paying Bisi directly, the buyer locks the USDT in an escrow smart contract. Bisi ships and enters the tracking number. Now the contract needs to know one thing from the real world: was the parcel delivered? That is a job for WINkLink AnyAPI. How the flow would look: ⤞ The contract sends an AnyAPI request with the tracking number ⤞ It pays the request fee in WIN through WinkMid ⤞ A WINkLink node calls the courier's tracking API and parses the status ⤞ The answer comes back on-chain ⤞ If it says delivered, the USDT is released to Bisi The docs describe AnyAPI as a way to get data from any off-chain source and transform it before feeding it to the chain. One limit worth saying out loud: this only works if the courier has a tracking API the node can call. There is also a safety valve in the operator contract: a request that isn't fulfilled within its expiry window can be cancelled and the WIN refunded. I think this is the kind of boring, practical use that makes @WinkLink_Oracle matter to people who will never say the word "oracle." Builders, the AnyAPI guide is here: https://t.co/HFTDP0manp Vendors, would you sell through an escrow like this? @justinsuntron @WinkLink_Oracle #TronEcoStarsafety
