TSLA vs $META Earnings: Two Different Problems, One Common Question

Both report this week, and both face the same test: does the story justify the margins?

$TSLA: Q2 revenue beat at $28.24B, but EPS missed at $0.33 vs $0.44 expected. Auto revenue is expected to fall 6.8% YoY in Q3, so the debate is about margins and whether non-auto stories can carry the stock. (benzinga) (spglobal)

$META: Q2 revenue grew 28% to $60.8B, but EPS fell 13% to $6.18. Capex is guided at $130B to $145B, so the debate is about how fast AI spending pays back. (247wallst) (fxleaders)

My read: Tesla's risk is slowing core demand. Meta's risk is heavy spending on a growing business. Tesla has to prove the new stories can add to earnings, while Meta has to prove the spending can pay off. I find Meta's setup easier to analyze, because its revenue growth is visible and the open question is cost.

BTC ETF flows today (Oct 11, 2026): +$253.54M net inflow — the second positive day this week after three straight sessions of outflows. Fidelity led with +$117M, Ark 21Shares followed at +$97.6M, Bitwise added +$38.8M. BlackRock's IBIT saw no net flow. BTC jumped over 3% on the same day.$BTC

A 2015 Ethereum whale just moved $356M. Should ETH traders pay attention?

An early ICO participant transferred 133,298 ETH to a new wallet, its first $100M+ transfer in four years.

Meanwhile, whale accumulation reports and ETH's strong Q3 performance are drawing attention.

But a massive transfer doesn't automatically mean buying or selling.

Is this a sign of confidence in ETH, or a warning of volatility ahead?

Bitcoin got softer inflation data, but the rally still stalled.

BTC tested $85,500 before pulling back toward $84,100. PCE came in at 3.4% vs. 3.7% expected, while Treasury yields near 5.3% limited the upside.

Key levels:

- $82,950: Support

- $85,000–$85,500: Resistance

Bitcoin ETFs attracted $3.1B over nine sessions, while October's historical average return stands at 19.92%.

Will BTC break above $85,500 this October, or face another pullback?

ETH at $2,580 — This Is the Trade Everyone's Watching Wrong

Most people right now are asking: *"Will ETH break $2,600?"*

That's the wrong question.

The real question is: **why hasn't it broken yet?**

ETF inflows are at record highs. Institutional money is pouring in. The Fear & Greed Index is sitting at 71. On paper, ETH should already be above $2,700.

But it's not.

That tells me there's serious distribution happening at this level. Someone is selling into every rally. And until that supply gets absorbed, we're stuck in this range — $2,460 on the bottom, $2,600 on the top.

So here's my actual plan:

I'm not chasing a breakout. I'm waiting. If ETH closes a full daily candle above $2,600 with volume confirmation, I add. If it slips below $2,520, I'm out — no arguments, no hoping.

The market rewards patience right now, not conviction.

---

One more thing nobody's talking about: the same week ETF inflows hit all-time highs, hackers stole $10.7M from thousands of wallets. Institutions are coming in the front door while attackers are picking the back lock.

Security isn't optional anymore. It's part of your trading strategy.
