Polygon Proposes PIP-93 to Grant Polygon Labs Independent Upgrade Rights with a 7-Day Delay
ME News reports that on November 5 (UTC+8), the draft Polygon governance proposal PIP-93 proposes allowing Polygon Labs to propose upgrades to bridge and staking contracts via an independent multisig, with transactions subject to a 7-day delay. Polygon Labs’ operational multisig requires 5 out of 9 signatures; the new Security Committee, composed of 11 signers from 10 institutions, requires 8 out of 11 signatures and can cancel queued transactions, propose changes independently, and execute them immediately. The proposal is set to be further detailed at the protocol governance meeting on November 5. (Source: ODAILY)
