Polygon Proposes PIP-93 to Grant Polygon Labs Independent Multisig Upgrade Rights with a 7-Day Delay
Odaily Planet Daily report: The Polygon governance proposal draft PIP-93 proposes to allow Polygon Labs to initiate upgrades to bridging and staking contracts via an independent multisig, with transactions subject to a 7-day delay. Polygon Labs’ operational multisig requires 5 out of 9 signatures; the new Security Committee, composed of 11 signers from 10 institutions, requires 8 out of 11 signatures and can cancel queued transactions, propose changes independently, and execute them immediately. The proposal is scheduled to be presented with further details at the protocol governance meeting on November 5.
