Continuation of yesterday's how Primus preserve confidentiality; The second part evolves around FHE FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) or zkFHE This lets computers perform calculations on encrypted data without ever decrypting it. The sensitive information stays locked. Systems can still check, add, transfer, or use it for things like earning yield. Only the authorized owner can decrypt and see the real numbers. For example; In @primus_labs’s Confidential Vault, you can turn stablecoins into an encrypted version, send them, or stake them for yield. Observers see activity happening, but they cannot see the amounts or your balances. All these comes with an extra Layers of protections; - Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) : Allows critical parts run inside secure hardware so operators cannot easily peek at or tamper with sensitive data. - Data minimization Only the necessary facts are proven or shared. - While cryptographic proofs ensure the data is authentic and the calculations are correct. Primus acts like a privacy layer that plugs into existing blockchains. Sensitive information stays confidential by default, yet it remains verifiable and usable for things like proof of reserves, private transfers, confidential finance, and trusted credit or identity data It solves the common problem where valuable private data like bank records, reserves, balances, etc cannot normally be used onchain without exposing it.
