🟠 Bitcoin briefly rose above $81,000
The price of BTC reached $81,136 at one point, before retreating to the current level of $80,500. At the time of writing, the increase over the past 24 hours exceeded 4%.
In the wake of the price surge, short positions worth almost $269 million were liquidated in just one hour.
