Bitcoin (BTC) Today caught my attention because the chart is showing a very different structure after that sharp sell-off.
BTC is trading around $79,100, up 2.23%, after finding buyers near $78,009 and recovering toward $79,144.
After the sell-off, price has started consolidating around $78,300–$78,600. This is an important phase where buyers are trying to establish a new balance.
On the 4H chart, the EMA200 remains a key decision zone. BTC needs to reclaim it to strengthen the recovery. In the short term, a break above $78,600–$78,700 would be the first sign of renewed momentum.
📈 Bullish scenario:
A breakout above $78,700 could lead to a retest of $79,144. Breaking that high would strengthen the recovery.
📉 Bearish scenario:
The key support remains $78,009. If buyers lose this level, the recovery structure weakens and further downside becomes possible.
What makes this setup interesting is not the daily percentage move, but how BTC is stabilizing after a sharp sell-off. A confirmed bullish MACD crossover and neutral RSI would support the consolidation thesis, although these indicators aren't visible in the provided chart.
For now, I wouldn’t focus on the small percentage move.
I’d watch the range breakout.
After a move as aggressive as the one Bitcoin just experienced, the next meaningful expansion could come from whichever side finally wins this consolidation battle📈$BTC
