OMG, I am so stupid. I can’t believe what I just did. I clicked on a phishing email that turned out to be part of my company’s security awareness training. The email said my boss had shared a PDF with me, and everything looked so legit. His name was there, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. I’m currently in talks with him about a promotion and a higher salary, so naturally, I thought the PDF had something to do with that. Somehow, they managed to hit exactly the right nerve. And now I finally understand how people fall for phishing emails and how billions of dollars can disappear because someone clicked the wrong link. Luckily, it was just a phishing simulation sent by my company’s security team. And as a reward for my stupidity, I’ve now been assigned four mandatory security training modules. Bro, how did I fall for this?
