✅ In the U.S. midterm elections, the Democratic Party has won control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. This is a particularly painful outcome for Trump. As of November 4, 2026: 🇺🇸 Senate Democratic Party: expected 53–54 seats Republican Party: expected 42–43 seats → Democrats have secured a majority 🇺🇸 House of Representatives Democratic Party: expected 219–224 seats → Exceeding the 218-seat majority threshold ※ Vote counts are still ongoing in some districts; final seat allocations may change. Particularly surprising are victories in regions long considered Republican strongholds. In Texas, Democrat James Talalico won, and in Kansas, a Democratic senator was elected for the first time in 94 years. Democrats also flipped Republican seats in Ohio, Iowa, and South Carolina. It’s truly been a blue wave. Key factors driving this election outcome include concerns over inflation, the Iran war, and dissatisfaction with the Trump administration. Personally, I believe what matters more than the election results themselves is the policy shift over the next two years. While Trump remains president, Congress is now under Democratic control. This could lead to significant clashes over budget approvals and legislation, increasing the likelihood of policy uncertainty. Will this Democratic victory ultimately be a bullish or bearish development for the U.S. stock market and cryptocurrency markets?
