The benefits of the Genesis NFT ultimately depend on how successful the launchpad becomes!! While I don’t have much experience investing in NFTs, I can see that the Fungo Genesis NFT is designed to offer ongoing benefits even after the airdrop. According to Fungo @FungoLabs, 20% of the launchpad’s revenue will be equally distributed among the 3,232 Genesis NFTs, allowing holders to claim their share in ETH, ZAMA, or tokens from launchpad projects. (Have other NFT projects offered similar benefits before?) Additionally, whenever a new collection launches a token on the launchpad, 5–20% of that token’s total supply will also be allocated to Genesis NFT holders. This means the more collections that launch, the greater the variety of tokens holders could potentially receive. However, I’m not sure how valuable these allocated tokens will be on the market ^^ Moreover, the revenue generated from team-held Genesis NFTs will be used to buy back and burn $FUNGO tokens. This appears to be a separate plan regarding how the team handles its NFT-generated income, distinct from any lock-up or vesting conditions applied to the team’s allocated $FUNGO tokens. While the benefits outlined by the team seem substantial, all of them only hold meaning if the launchpad is actually operational. Projects need to come in, collections need to launch, and revenue needs to be generated—only then will holders receive their share. Therefore, I believe it’s crucial to monitor which projects will be listed next and whether the launchpad remains consistently active. Since Fungo has positioned the launchpad as its next major step, the key question now is whether this vision will translate into real-world operation.
