I've been thinking about a question around Physical AI: What if spatial data became something you could request and purchase, just like computing power or cloud storage? Today, organizations often have to collect their own physical-world data. That can mean expensive equipment, dedicated teams, and significant time spent gathering information for specific locations. @vangrid_io is exploring a different model. A buyer can identify a location that needs capturing, create a USDC bounty, and let contributors provide the requested footage. Vangrid then processes the capture into a 3D reconstruction. This creates an interesting economic relationship: Demand determines what needs to be captured. Contributors fulfill that demand. Processing turns raw input into a more useful spatial asset. The bigger opportunity may not be in building another mapping platform. It may be in creating a marketplace where spatial information can be sourced on demand. If Physical AI grows, I think this kind of infrastructure deserves more attention.
