𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲, 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗛𝗮𝘀 𝗔 𝗟𝗼𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲. If you've been following the development of AI agents, Concordium Town Hall #6 is worth your time. The session went beyond general conversations about AI and focused on the infrastructure needed to make autonomous agents useful, verifiable and accountable. There were updates on agent registrations, identity verification, stablecoin payments, funding for developers and upcoming protocol features. Here are some of the key developments from the session. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 Concordium reported 5,040 registered AI agents, with agent-related transactions exceeding 738,000. This growth highlights the increasing activity around the Agent Registry and the need to connect autonomous agents to verifiable owners. 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 An important part of Concordium's approach is linking AI agents to verified humans or businesses. Using zero-knowledge proofs, the system supports identity verification while keeping sensitive personal information private. This creates a way to establish accountability without making private identity documents public on-chain. 𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗤 𝗜𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁 The team also discussed EURQ, a euro stablecoin issued by Quantoz Payments. It is currently on testnet, with mainnet targeted for December 2026. Its planned role is to bring regulated euro payments into the Concordium ecosystem. 𝟳𝟱 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗖𝗗 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 Concordium announced a 75 million CCD grants initiative to support teams building practical solutions for accountable AI agents. The focus is on helping developers move beyond ideas and build applications with real-world utility. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹-𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 Another major development is Protocol-Level Locks. The feature is designed to hold funds at the protocol level and release them when predefined conditions are met. Following a CertiK security review, public testnet was planned for December 2026, with mainnet targeted for January 2027. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 The session also highlighted ecosystem connections involving XDC AI, AITECH Agent Forge, https://t.co/62jdAR0oYY Wallet, Ledger Wallet and the x402 payment standard. One of the demonstrations showed an AI agent discovering a service, using its verified identity and purchasing a data feed through an x402 payment. It offered a practical example of how identity and payments can work together in an agent-driven environment. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱? There are several milestones to follow, including the Trusted Agents Hackathon, the Agent Kit beta, EURQ mainnet and the rollout of Protocol-Level Locks. What makes these developments interesting is how they connect to one larger goal: creating an environment where AI agents can do more while remaining linked to verified owners. That is an important part of the conversation around the agentic economy, and Concordium is actively building toward it. If you haven't watched the Town Hall yet, take some time to catch the full session. The demonstrations and discussions provide useful context beyond these highlights. 🎥 Full Town Hall #6 recording: https://t.co/7hFT6nSJP6 There's plenty happening at Concordium, and the next phase of its agent ecosystem is worth following. #Concordium $CCD
