I LEARNED TO LET THE GLUE CURE I used to clamp a joint, wait a short while, then test it with my thumb, and too often the seam slid. I thought I was being careful, yet, I was just impatient with chemistry. What I tend to forget was that the glue does its real work after you walk away. You set the clamps, Wipe the squeeze-out, and Leave the piece alone. Strength arrives when you stop poking at the joint to see if it is ready. That approach followed me into $XRP. I used to refresh the screen again and again, looking for proof that my reasons still held. The reasons never lived on the screen…They lived in the rails I chose, and the time I was willing to give them before I demanded a result. Pulling at a fresh joint only weakens it…Pulling at a thesis every time the colour changes does the exact same… Now, I set my position the way I set a clamp…firm, clean, and then I leave it alone long enough to hold. $XRP
