There are corporate banks, investment banks, merchant banks, consumer banks, so the killer app depends on what you're trying to do and what your customers want. In some cases it could be yield, because who doesn't want more money? Yield is one way to make your assets more productive. Settlement is another: if you settle faster, assets cycle faster and your collateral can be more productive Where does the bank end and the custodian begin? It's the same question as where TradFi ends and DeFi begins. Hopefully one day we won't talk about two sides of the ecosystem. It's just Fi #HSCSingapore
