Who keeps the yield on your stablecoins? 🤔

The issuer puts every dollar you hold in a stablecoin into US Treasury bills and similar assets, and keeps the interest.
There is an estimated $307 billion in stablecoins in circulation. Tether alone made more than $10 billion in 2025! It’s BIG business, yet the people holding them earn literally ZERO.

Hyperliquid decided that had to change! 🤨

With aligned quote assets (AQAv2), live since 26th August.. The USDC issuer shares about 90% of the yield on roughly $5 billion held on Hyperliquid. That money goes back into the ecosystem through HYPE token buybacks.

It’s now commonly referred to as an aligned stablecoin: a dollar whose yield flows back to the community that uses it.🤓 Pretty cool right!

Hyperliquid was able to negotiate this because it's huge. But how does a small community get its own aligned dollar? They can't just meet with Circle and ask for the same deal. 🤔

For the next four weeks I'm following one experiment that tries to answer exactly that: USDZEUS, built on dollarize. fun with the ZEUS community on Ethereum.

I'll be explaining: 👉🏼 How it works 👉🏼 Where the yield comes from 👉🏼 Potential pitfalls Then next Thursday 12th at 6pm UTC Queen Talks is back..Yay! I’ll be talking to the people who built it.

What would you ask them? Drop it below.  In the meantime check out the link in the comments for more. *Paid partnership with dollarize. Not financial advice.
