I've been looking at XRP and one part of its design that deserves more attention is the XRP Ledger's consensus model.
Unlike traditional proof-of-work networks, XRPL uses a group of trusted validators to agree on transactions without mining. This helps keep transaction settlement fast and reduces energy use.
What makes this interesting is the balance between speed and decentralization. Validators can confirm transactions efficiently, but the trust placed in the validator network also matters.
For wider financial adoption, speed alone is not enough. Reliability, transparency, and independent validator participation are equally important.
The real question is whether XRPL can continue growing while keeping its validator network sufficiently diverse and independent.#Bitcoin Below $80K: Glassnode Identifies Potential Local Bottom Signals in November 2026 $UAI $XRP
