You've probably pasted an API key, a password or even a seed phrase into ChatGPT "just to check something." It's all still sitting in your chat history. Find it in 5 minutes: 1. Export your history (ChatGPT: Settings → Data controls → Export. Claude: Settings → Privacy → Export data) 2. Unzip it, open the folder in Claude Code and paste: "Scan every conversation in this folder for secrets I pasted: API keys, passwords, private keys, seed phrases (12 or 24 English words in a row), card numbers and ID numbers. For each one, show the chat title, the date and only the first and last 4 characters. Group them into: rotate now, check, and false alarm. Never print a full secret and don't send anything online." Then change everything in the "rotate now" list.
