JUST IN🚨🚨🚨 South Korea's ruling-party finance members are leaning toward recommending another delay of the crypto income tax. Rep. Oh Ki-hyung said most members favour waiting, after a closed meeting between the party and the government. The tax is set to start January 2027. About two more years is the leading timeframe discussed. The reasons they cited are CARF tax-data sharing with overseas exchanges and a digital-asset law that's still pending. This is a lean, not a law. Party leadership still has to decide. Would a 2029 start change how Korean money treats crypto?
