I LEARNED TO MOVE SLOWLY AROUND THE HIVE The day I opened my beehive, I panicked. The buzz rose to a roar, bees bounced off my veil, and I swatted at them like my life depended on it and that's how I got stung. At the time I briefly forgot that bees read my movements, and not my intentions. Jerky hands look like an attack, and so they defend, while slow hands look like nothing at all. So I mastered to slow my breathing, use a little smoke, and lift each frame like it was made of glass…the roar never went away, but it stopped being about me. This market has the same buzz some days. Headlines swarm, timelines shout, my phone hums with alerts, and every instinct says, do something fast. I've been stung enough times by my own quick hands to know better now… The noise is just the hive being a hive. Calm hands keep the honey… Panic only buys the sting.
