The Kardashev Scale gives that idea a name, but it’s hard to picture what the journey there would actually look like. That’s what drew me to @projectspherexy In Genesis Epoch, the idea starts with building a sphere and collecting energy. It turns a huge scientific concept into something you can actually take part in, rather than just read about. Of course, we’re still a long way from a Type II civilisation. That’s part of what makes the concept so fascinating.
