Bitcoin heads into Election Day with an unusual record behind it. After the last three midterms, Bitcoin kept falling — and bottomed 71, 39 and 13 days later, in 2014, 2018 and 2022. It enters this vote near $76,700, down more than 1% today, after its worst October finish since 2014. Prediction markets give a Democratic sweep 72% odds, on over $51 million traded. Three data points do not make a rule — and this cycle's low may already be behind it. But history says the weeks after the vote, not the vote itself, are when Bitcoin has found its floor.
