FROM TOWN HALL #5 TO TOWN HALL #6: WHAT HAS CONCORDIUM BUILT? At Town Hall #6, Our CTO, @PeterMarirosans , walked through the progress made since the previous Town Hall #5 in March. His recap revealed something important: Concordium has been moving beyond building protocol infrastructure to getting that infrastructure into the hands of users, businesses, developers and AI agents. Here's what has happened: → MAY 6: https://t.co/Q8TiGzilUi: VERIFIED ACCESS TO 80M+ WALLETS Concordium went live with @BitcoinCom , bringing concordium:native verified access to an ecosystem of more than 80 million wallets. This is about extending access to Concordium's ecosystem through an established wallet platform. → MAY 20: AGENT REGISTRY GOES LIVE The Agent Registry officially launched, with more than 5,000 agents registered at the time of Peter's recap. An important detail: these are not limited to agents operating on Concordium. The registry already supports agents across more than 200 networks. This expands the identity and accountability conversation beyond a single blockchain. → JUNE 23: CERTIK Peter highlighted the @CertiK integration, describing the work behind it as a lengthy process involving extensive engagement with the chain. It marked another important step in Concordium's ecosystem development and external integrations. → JUNE 23: LEDGER INTEGRATION CCD became available across @Ledger 's desktop and mobile ecosystems. This gives users another established wallet environment in which they can hold their CCD. → August 18: GLOBAL FINREG BUSINESS IDENTITY IN ABOUT 30 SECONDS One of the most interesting developments Peter highlighted was the improvement to business onboarding through Global FinReg, an Identity Provider already working with Concordium. Businesses with an existing Global FinReg account or LEI number can port their information across and establish a Concordium ID verified against their business identity in approximately 30 seconds. The process is also available on testnet for users who want to try it. Why does this matter? Because the identity layer is no longer limited to individuals. A business can have a verified identity, and an AI agent acting on its behalf can be associated with that verified business. Company → Verified Business Identity → AI Agent. That creates a clearer connection between autonomous activity and the organisation behind it. → SEPTEMBER 27: EXPLORATIVE FOUNDATION Concordium became part of the official @x402scan repository through the Explorative Foundation. Developers can now use the integration and run facilitators, while Concordium provides its own mainnet facilitator. More importantly, this brings Verified Access and Verify and Pay into the facilitator environment. An application can require verification before a payment proceeds, whether the action is initiated by a human or an AI agent. This connects identity verification directly to payment execution. LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE. These developments are connected: https://t.co/Dv48OmReJG and Ledger expand wallet access. The Agent Registry extends agent registration across more than 200 networks. Global FinReg brings verified business identity into the ecosystem. X402 brings verification into payment facilitation. And the CertiK integration adds another important ecosystem relationship. Peter's recap at Town Hall #6 showed how much of the groundwork has moved into integrations and usable infrastructure since Town Hall #5. But one point stands out above everything else: @Concordium is extending verification beyond individual users. It is building toward an ecosystem where humans, businesses and AI agents can participate in digital economic activity with verifiable identities behind them. That is a significant step toward the trusted agentic economy Boris has been pointing towards. The infrastructure is being built. The integrations are happening. Now the ecosystem needs to put it to work.
