THE CONCORDIUM TRUSTED AGENTS HACKATHON STARTS TODAY! Today, builders begin a six-week programme to take AI agents from simply operating to becoming verifiable and accountable. The @Concordium Trusted Agents Hackathon is free, fully online, and open to individuals and teams building AI agents on @ethereum , @solana and 200+ other networks. And there's more: participants can compete for grants from Concordium's 75M CCD Grants Programme to take promising projects further. Here's what builders will be working towards: → VERIFIED BY CONCORDIUM BADGE Give your AI agent a verifiable connection to the human behind it. The badge proves that a verified human stands behind the agent without publicly revealing their identity. → ERC-8004 AGENT CARD Register your agent in Concordium's Agent Registry using an ERC-8004 Agent Card. This gives the agent a place in the registry and connects it to the wider identity and accountability infrastructure. → x402 PAYMENTS WITH SPONSORED FEES Bring payment capabilities into your agent using x402, with sponsored transaction fees on testnet. → MCP OR A2A INTEGRATION Connect your agent through MCP or A2A and explore how it can interact with other tools and agents. HOW THE SIX WEEKS WORK → Weeks 1–3: Six live workshops with the Concordium team, every Monday and Wednesday at 15:00 UTC. → Weeks 4–6: Build and integrate on testnet, with office hours to support development. → Wednesday, 9 December: Final submission deadline. Projects will be judged on integration depth and a credible path to production, not simply transaction counts or the strength of a pitch. AND THE GRANTS? Winners will be eligible for grants from Concordium to continue developing their projects into live products, subject to the programme's terms and conditions. The focus is on real usage and products with a path to production. No blockchain experience is required. You can build solo or as a team, and test CCD is free.
