Venice has built its reputation around private, censorship-resistant AI inference. But anyone who knows your Base wallet address can see how much base:0xacfe6019ed1a7dc6f7b508c02d1b04ec88cc21bf you hold and stake What if Venice users could keep their AI inference private AND choose to receive their staking rewards privately? Enter @aztecprotocol Aztec is a privacy-focused ZK rollup that enables private smart contract execution and token transfers. It has also achieved a Stage 2 designation from L2BEAT, an important milestone for rollup decentralization @ErikVoorhees, has @AskVenice considered giving users the option to receive VVV staking rewards on Aztec? I'm not proposing that Venice abandon Base or migrate its existing staking contracts Rather, I'd like to see an optional claim-and-bridge integration that allows VVV stakers to receive their rewards in a private balance on Aztec The first step could be a proof of concept: > Claim VVV rewards on Base > Bridge the tokens to Aztec > Hold and transfer them privately > Preserve the ability to redeem VVV back to Base. The original claim and bridge deposit would still be publicly visible, but subsequent ownership and transfers on Aztec could remain private There are engineering challenges, including cross-chain messaging, bridge security, fees, and wallet integration. But Aztec already has the building blocks for private tokens and Ethereum portal contracts If the engineering proves feasible and there's demand, Venice could eventually explore private DIEM transfers and even private staking Venice has already made AI inference private. Why not give users the option to keep their VVV rewards private, too?
