The interesting part of @projectspherexy isn't just the vision of building a Dyson Sphere. It's the idea of preparing the foundation before civilization can expand. The Genesis phase is designed around accumulation before expansion. Participants build cells that collect and store energy from the star. That stored energy is intended to support the next stages of the ecosystem. In other words early participation is about more than simply getting involved. It’s about contributing to the foundation while the system is still taking shape. The bigger ambition is to accelerate civilization toward a Kardashev Type II future, where an entire star's energy could be harnessed. Of course, the long-term value will depend on how the next stages are developed and implemented. But the concept behind Project Sphere is certainly ambitious. I’m interested to see how the Genesis phase evolves and what opportunities emerge as the ecosystem expands. Sometimes the most important progress happens before the expansion becomes visible.
