LEDGER: TAKE THE KEYS. THE REPLIES: WHAT ABOUT THE HARDWARE? @Ledger is urging self-custody, phishing awareness and checking what you sign. Its point: an exchange holds the keys, leaving customers dependent on the platform. @Tomy_BTC replies by asking how the compromised-hardware issue will be resolved, saying it makes him more afraid. The security class has a hand up in the back row. These are different risks: who controls the keys, and whether the device reaching you is trustworthy. Neither question makes the other disappear. @Ledger @Tomy_BTC: what concrete supply-chain or verification change would rebuild confidence? A customer question is not evidence that all Ledger devices are compromised. Cartoon satire.
